brothers, spacex stonks are completely disconnected from the rocket business, if it was just the rocket business then it would be a sold stock worth like 15 bucks a pop, spacex's entire "valuation" is AI, in their IPO they say that the company is worth 28 trillion, 3 trillion of which is the rocket business and starlink, and 25 trillion is "grok will take us to mars and data centers in space", it is literally all just fairy dust, the banks backing it just want to fleece people's pension funds that automatically buy stonks
there's 3 types of people in it, retards who genuinely believe that musk is some superhuman genius and will take us to mars and make infinite money, banks who are in it to rugpull pension funds, and private investors who are in it to rugpull pension funds, rockets are entirely irrelevant, you either believe that grok will become the galaxy's god emperor or you just want to rugpull people, it's purely market manipulation and AI pipedreams, nothing about rockets

Dumb dumb, valuation always falls off a cliff following an IPO because institutional investors already had shares beforehand. So as soon as they hit the market they sell and then buy back when the dump slows down. It can take like a year or so for the price to recover.

China recently revealed a weapon capable of destroying all the space-x satellites. Russia has something as well which literally grinds the satellites into little pieces and sends them back to earth. There is also the fact that Iran was able to hack the satellites and find people in Iran who were communicating with the American and Israeli government. In every measurable way space-x has been a fucking joke.

>productive land, factories
lol where? in china? there ain't no productive factories in america, my personal opinion is that the american economy and finance is way more wobbly than most people believe, it is held together by duct tape and chewing gum, the goycattle brainwashing in america is especially strong because they don't want people to notice that they're living in a house of cards, people rave on about how much better it was when the dollar was pegged to the gold, but they don't realise that it just led to american bankers being greedy fucks too, they printed way more dollars than they had gold to back, and people just called the bluff and started exchanging their dollars to gold, the bankers then panicked and the dollar was taken off the gold standard, which instantly crashed it's value of course and america was absolutely fucked and about to collapse, but they still had a large military, so they managed to strike a deal with the saudis to price oil in dollars, which managed to revive the dollar's value and create the petrodollar which kept things afloat, but now as technology is progressing oil is becoming less relevant, america's military power is fading too after they spent too much money on wars that they lost (vietnam, afghanistan), people who are not brainwashed retard goycattle can see the writing on the wall, there's nothing backing the dollar, there's no gold, oil is losing relevance and countries don't consider the american military to be that relevant either, which means that the american economy and financial system will collapse, they need the dollar to gain some other value to it, and they need it desperately, that's why they're pouring trillions into AI as their last shot attempt at keeping the ball rolling, if AI flops they're fucked but if they don't bet on anything then they're fucked either way

I think america is a special basket case in history though, it's different from bubbles appearing and popping in countries, america itself is just a bubble, it is propped up by nothing other than financial instruments, and an increasingly weak mercenary force that keeps those financial instruments turning, it's not a problem of a financial bubble in america popping, it's america that'll pop because it is just a financial bubble with no real assets backing it

Losses arent booked until you close your position though :^)

I bought 235 shares @ $42.98 back in May 2025 which was the minimum order my IBKR rep was able to get me. I didnt expect that SPCX would IPO for years.

Not selling though. I never sell, I take margin loans against the value of my portfolio and target a specific equity ratio (95-50%) based on NASDAQ % from ATH

If you want to buy in to SPCX you should wait until the QQQ pulls back at least 20% from ATH. That is the best place to start building a position for any IPO.

America is a special basket case, sure, but consider that it’s based largely on autarky and natural resources, which is to say real tangible assets. The continental US is huge and has every natural resource required to be completely independent of any other countries. I mean sure they farm Canada and Mexico for resources and cheap labour, but they don’t actually need us to keep the ponzi booming. The paper game is just to make regular people feel like they’re getting richer too instead of just getting fleeced. Protip: we’re mostly getting fleeced.

yeah and the mars has so many resources it's basically worth 5000 quadzillion dollars if you just put your flag on it, resources existing and the ability to extract them is two different things, americans have no willingness of doing the hard work of building an infrastructure for extracting and refining natural resources and manufacturing goods from them, it would take like 100 years for america to go from being a financial bubble propped up by a mercenary force to becoming a country with real assets that have actual value and in the meanwhile it'll be africa tier and of course balkanize into a dozen different countries
>>
>>539064579
americas largest export by a gorillion miles is tech. being "just" self-sustaining for america would mean compitulating 95%+ of the money america is "raking" in. it's like korea. they have natural resources too but you know what they also have? Samsung doing 1950% YOY gains
>>
>>539065045
Maybe. The Mars thing is obviously a joke but it only took 30 or 40 years for American manufacturing to be almost completely sold out and outsourced to China. Presumably it could be regained in a similar period of time I’d there was a political will to do so. Unfortunately every politician is human and corruptible, if not innately corrupt before going into politics, so what would actually bring about that sort of political will is beyond me.

There's more capacity here than you'd think. On my drive to work I pass by a half-dozen shuttered factories that were just abandoned. One used to make military dress uniforms. One made sailing rope and twine. One re-enriched uranium. One made dyes. One made cashmere wools. One made seafood products. The rope and twine one still operates at a fraction of what it was. The others all shut down over the past 30 or 40 years since NAFTA and letting China into the WTO. But the facilities are there. They have the power and water and infrastructure. It'd take some cleaning up and new machines. It could be done. The problem is only that it couldn't be done as cheaply as in Asia or Mexico.

that's a meme in the first place, america didn't have that much manufacturing to begin with, nothing got "shipped away and sold out", after ww2 just nobody had any manufacturing and america with some tiny manufacturing just happened to be the biggest one, america's manufacturing has increased over the last 40 years, just not by much, and they didn't have much to begin with, once the rest of the world revitalised what little relevance american goods have quickly faded away, even when america was in a currency crisis and near collapse it didn't just magically become a manufacturing powerhouse, it was just a country with a financial crisis and no real assets, other countries, including china and japan didn't start from zero, they already had industries, it just got wrecked by the war, and they were able to bounce back, america had nothing to bounce back to, it never had anything to begin with, when they got rich off of the ww2 victory they spent it on their military and that is their one asset, which is becoming more and more irrelevant by the year, especially if they can't keep the petrodollar running

so like I said, america didn't make much to begin with but after ww2 when nobody was making anything they were able to sell them for premium prices, manufacturing didn't collapse in america after other economies recovered, america just couldn't sell their meager amount of goods for a premium anymore but otherwise stayed the same

>the manufacturing output of america basically didn't change since 1947, if anything it increased a little bit, it's a retarded myth that american manufacturing went away, it didn't, it just never really existed in the first place
This is because you're measuring output in dollars, which is retarded if you care about actually producing material things and not debt and financial instruments and NFTs and memecoins.

Not true, not even among retail investors. You can sell contracts. Anyone selling puts is making bank right now.

> spacex's entire "valuation" is AI, in their IPO they say that the company is worth 28 trillion, 3 trillion of which is the rocket business and starlink, and 25 trillion is "grok will take us to mars and data centers in space", it is literally all just fairy dust, the banks backing it just want to fleece people's pension funds that automatically buy stonks
This is true but also wrong. The goal is not to fleece 401k’s, that wouldn’t even work as their exposure to SPCX is only due to index funds that include it. The reason for the IPO is to receive a cash injection to continue afloat. AI is not a profitable business, so companies have been running on private investor money for years. That has all dried up, so they are now all accelerating plans for an IPO to keep the gravy train rolling. That’s the real reason for them fucking everyone with these retarded valuations. The underwriters are fine with it because they still make hundreds of millions. And, in their prospectus they ‘just’ said their valuation is $1.75 trillion. That is still absolutely insane, however

>>539057843
The really bad thing is that they're still fluffing it up and pumping the fuck out of it as it fizzles. Every one of the investment clowns is still hyping it and they will hype it until told not to.
The Banks in the USA that ran this ponzi pocketed hundreds of millions of dollars in underwriting fee's, also every bag holder who made a trade had to pay some shyster to do the actual trade.
