After 7 years doing the first and 3 years doing the latter, my opinion is clear. Never again a "regular" job.

Personally I find DoorDash fun - but I ride my custom gravel bike and listen to music, only do local CBD deliveries and I do it to double up my exercise while earning some extra cash after my day job. Sometimes I even do it in the morning before work. Pretty chill desu, I get about 150 - 300 in cash each week from it. I wouldn’t do it if I had to use a car and pay for petrol though. Also I’m white and polite and in shape so people are pleased to have me drop things off for them. The worst part is dealing with Indian or middle eastern shop owners who try to slow you down by deliberately taking ages to make orders once they find out you’re not of their race

I’m thinking of getting an e-bike and doing it.

I did it in my car at night and it wasn’t bad. Better than being micromanaged at a wagecuck job or dealing with co-workers and women. Only thing I could tolerate is some remote IT job that pays 80k to 6 figures but I’ve never been able to get one of those cushy jobs. Only downside is I had to work for 8-10 hours every day to make any decent money. I hear you can make a lot more money with an e-bike in a shorter amount of time, especially during the day in peak hours.
