>Canadian forests are just lighting themselves on fire now because... because forests just do that ok?!?!
>yeah this didn't used to happen annually until 3 years ago, so what? stop being schizophrenic!!!
>>
>>539092960
Forests are on 80-200 year cycles.

>AHHHH *cough* IT'S A CONSPIRACYYYYY *HACK* *WHEEZE*
>>
Are you being coy?
It's always been known that firest fighters start fires so they can put them out. So what if it costs a town or two. Insurance covers it.
>>
>>539092960
The pulp and paper industry needs a comeback so they can strategically clear vulnerable strips of overgrown forest for us.
>>
>>539092960
>Forests just set themselves on fire?
Yes, you can even see this in gardens when its hot let alone a forest. Black Mulch will often set itself afire, let alone trash setting fires, lightning strikes, etc.

>Didn't used to happen
It did, it never stopped happening.
>>
it was le climate!
>>
im sure someone somewhere is benefitting from this
>>
>Decades of aggressively stomping out every fire that pops up, allowing fuel buildup.
>Monoculture replanting at absolutely retarded density leading to massive beetle kill areas
>Practically eradicating naturally fire resistant species due to poor quality lumber (rip in piece Ponderosa Pine)
>Blame climate change and do nothing to fix the situation.
We are truly a retarded meme country
>>

Nice post, Chang
>>
>>539092960
It's the sun, lighting, trains and industry. When its this hot even just people walking around in the bush set it off when the knock rocks down hills and shit.

>import jeets
>fires start raging out of control
hmmm
>>
>>539094641
Ecologist here. This propaganda that forests need to be burned down or they'll burn down is faggoty propaganda from the lumber industry. You will die on my sword.

suffah biiish, this is how you died bish, choking and coughing on coal saturated air,of you wannaknow the truth about it biiiiish

There are species of pine that will not seed without fire, so yes, fire is definitely an integral part of the forest ecosystem
>>
>>539097513
So the forests are masturbating?

Why aren't lightning strikes happening in Nunavut?
Is something else missing from there?

How weird!

Pretty much. It's called a tree line.

These better not be jeet garbage fires!! I'm breathing that smoke rn
>>

>>

Don't forget the spraying of Round Up (glyphosate), an actual desicant, to deciduous flora so (profitable) conifers can dominate. Fast tracts are parched now where they weren't before.
>>
>>539100733
Are you telling me that there's no trees or forests at all in Nunavut?

We've always had forest fires you idiot
its due to climate change
>>
I blame pajeets, it's always those subhuman fucks. Hate them.
>>
>>539102309
its not all due to climate change, its just part of forests life cycle. the frequency of the fires lately, here and elsewhere, might have to do with rising temperatures but it has a lot more to do with poor management of our forests and reluctance to carry out controlled burns
>>
The Cucknadians should develop tech to blow the smoke specifically down onto the East Coast and places like Chicago and keep it out of everywhere else. Cause only said libtard hives deserve this shit.

>Saboteurs are hiking thousands of miles into the canadian wilderness without roads to start fires to make Trump look bad

Slightly less believeable than lightning strikes or the fires that over winter in peak bogs but sure OP. Its meanies risking life and limb to make orange man look bad.

Lack of reporting stations that far north and trees being more spread out in the tundra.
>>
I mean yeah look at how much we fuck with nature nowadays. Now they’re fucking us back
>>
>>539102563
>Lack of reporting stations
Nigger this is satellite data. It should see everywhere.
>>
>>539096754
Dead wood accumulates with time. You either remove it by hand or it will burn down.
>>
>>539102280
There are pretty much no trees, it's tundra. The only vegetation you find there is moss, some grass and rarely a bush.

It's these things. T. Knower
I know because I've been told hearsay from a trusted source, who knows an ecologist that used to work for the government (lost job after budget cuts) that they knew and warned the government about this shit and no action was taken. Turns out logging company owners pay their dues to the provincial conservatives, also hearsay. The burning of their plantations doesn't really hurt them, because it allows for higher prices in a currently slow market, and also lets them argue to log more old(er) growth forest.

No, there are trees, at least in the areas near the state's borders.
You can look up pictures of these small lakes and it's full of trees.
>>
>>539102280

There are, but not much, and the further North you go there aren't any. Tree line only extends so far north. After that it's mostly swamp, bushes, some grass. >>539102839 turns out after the extinction of a bunch of Arctic megafauna at the end of the ice age that Tundra has lost the ability to really regenerate grass land, with the lack of animals that would eat/remove bushes and spread grass seed. The more you know

This is a picture of Ennadai Lake, for instance.
The trees are not everywhere, but there's a lot of them.
