Humanity, as a whole, right now, does not benefit from children. It is in 99.9% of cases purely a selfish, or foolish, act. The sudden existence of a new human does nothing to miraculously solve an issue or problem in the world, in fact it may create new ones. Having children can only ever generally be "good" if humanity is united under one greater, good purpose, which it is not. You do not know what the state might use your child for, you do not have control of his destiny, only yours. Having children, more often than not, burdens the problems that you should of solved in your age to them, while you collect money from a corrupt state that has their own reasons to get you to want kids.
