I just had an interview, with a food service restaurant job. This time went great and I told management that I could work in anytime Monday-Sunday, whether from morning to night. I even spoke additional languages, making the manager compliment me: it would be useful, as a great deal of the customer base we get aren't native speakers of English.To lay it clear: I graduated a big exorbitant school in 2025 at the age of 23. In 12 months plus above 1000 applications I was only able to get one side job at Whole Foods from the winter spanning 2025 to 2026.My Contract ended in early 2026 and since then, I've been unemployed. I have been living with my mother in DC suburban area. In over 5 months of unemployment, I tried to used time productively and passed the FINRA SIE, but it didn't change nothing.Saddest is, I can't even struggling to get hired for customer support jobs in Finance that are supposed to sponsor the SIE and other top off Exams.4 is the total number of interviews since then, and they count to2 retail, 1 office admin, and 1 in finance.I really want to get out of my parents' home, I am turning 25 in 6 months and will even if it means taking 2-3 jobs that are even food service, such as MacDonald's, Chick Fil A, Burger King, Arby's, etcAnd let me tell you, I am very upset. I am Absolutely MAD! This job market is absolutely ridiculous and it really enrages me to no bitter end. I am losing patience and am seething up anger. The longer I wait to be unable to find work, the less outlook I see. There is a hopeless feeling, and I bear the biggest witness of it.This country is depressing all the way down and there is little hope for my plight.
