We could in the near future see the Dems as a party that actually IS free of Aipac money swaying them, and thus is in a position to vote to end Aipac's power int he US by reforming campaign finance laws. A position that it benefits them to take, because they don't want the republicans to benefit from Aipac money in federal elections if they can't. Its the best odds of Aipac getting booted that we've ever seen. Not a certainty, but a chance.
