Turkey has sold off all of its holdings of U.S. Treasury bonds and gold, but this still failed to save its currency.
>>
>>539162653
Most peripheral currencies of the USD world will meet the same fate in the immediate near-term future. Then the USD itself. Anyone with a basic understanding of currency can tell you this.
>>
>>539162653
Hey China. Why are you hiding 2x more oil reserves than the rest of the world combined? What are you planning. You can last on normal mdoe for years while others would weeks or months. Thats not fair if the oil crisia hits you should have collapsed not the west, wtf!
Can you pls tell Xi to sell some oil.

Get a load of those big candle wicks.
Someone is suppressing the price by dumping hard whenever the market tries to redress.
>>
>>539162762
It’s actually quite simple: China doesn’t operate on a “Vote-Driven Politics” political system.
That’s why Chinese politicians can always make long-term plans.
National strategic reserves are incredibly expensive and require long-term planning; their benefits simply aren’t visible in the short term.
Let me give you an example.
Suppose the European Union plans to build a massive grain silo to prevent famine.
The investment would total 10 billion euros, with completion scheduled in 15 years.
The grain silo would be built in Poland and would rely on grain imports from Russia and Belarus.
This would be impossible to accomplish.
It would harm the interests of farmers elsewhere in Europe, because EU leaders would hand all the money over to the Polish government.
Vote-seeking politics would lead politicians in various countries to make a big fuss over this project, claiming that EU leaders are stealing money from their own farmers.
As a result, the project would be stillborn.
This is precisely why Europe has found itself in an energy crisis due to the war in Ukraine.
Vote-seeking politics does not allow for strategic reserves.
Voters demand to see the money appear in their bank accounts the very next day.

US dollars being so valuable is the whole reason manufacturing jobs left eh USA.
So if Americans want their factory jobs back they should devalue the dollar.
Meanwhile Turkey is a cheap place to get something made like all that military equipment other NATO members are buying now.
>>
>>539163328
That's incorrect. Manufacturing left the USA because we implemented a domestic regulation regime that discouraged industrial activities. This was related to environmental and labor rights mostly. It is of course possible to run industry in a clean and fair way but the point was to give a cover for exporting the work not actually solve any problems for the public.
>>
And it will fall more because turkey reserves dropped by $55b because of Iran war.
As per plan, this conflict is supposed to collapse weak economies so US can be back on top again.
>>
>>539163490
Labor is about 60% more expensive in the USA compared to other developed countries because of the petrodollar.
There is no denying this simple fact.

Yeah there are also other factors but the exchange rate is by far the biggest one.

So that is why Erdoghan was kept around despite being a dumb warmongering fuck who pulled the most obvious false flag military coup of the century, or we're suppposed to believe a random private out of spontaneous courage decided to kill a general just before it could pull the coup yet whom somehow managed to send orders to troops whom just moved around obviously without clear orders, whom were all purged and executed for their involvement.

I mean it was always obvious he is a globohomo proxy in the region, especially with how he acted toward Syria and the SFA turned ISIS, whom he allowed to fence stolen oil across their border while claiming their presence was cause to invade Syrian land directly. Utterly corrupt piece of shit thst guy is.

It's not funny. They have severe problems. The mighty Turkish Reich is a shadow of its former self. What have the Turks ever done to deserve this humiliation?
>>
>>539163731
Weird thing is, it's still very expensive country.
They will only take Euros or Dollars as payment in a lot of places.
A 10 minute taxi journey would cost 15 Euros.
Funny enough a lot of Russians go there.
>>
>>539163917
The collapse of German industry can be blamed on Germans entirely. Watch one of them VW (VAG Group) documentaries on jewtube as a soldi example.

because lira is being instantly swapped for dollars, nobody holds that shit in large numbers in Turkey.

They are ruled by a globohomo despot whose duty was to regress turkey back to shit tier and divide n conquer the nation, aint for no reason he went out of his way to antagonize the kurds while giving free pass to ISIS. All the while he lives in a thousand room palace literally plated in gold that is worth over a billion. He is the living stereotype of a tyrant who eat caviar while his own people can barely afford to feed themselves. Hope he get his come uppance sooner than later, because the nation cannot improve with him at the helm. He also empowered and emboldened the most backward elements of his society to form a loyal foundation of corrupt sunni troglodites.

Attaturk must be rolling in his grave at incledible speed.

The Dönmeh (Hebrew: דוֹנְמֶה, romanized: Dōnme, Ottoman Turkish: دونمه, Turkish: Dönme) are a group of Sabbatean crypto-Jews in the Ottoman Empire who embraced Islam, but retained their Jewish faith and Kabbalistic beliefs in secret.[1][2][3][4]

The Sabbatean movement was centered mainly in Thessalonika.[1][4][5] It originated during and soon after the era of Shabbetai Tzevi, a 17th-century Romaniote Jewish rabbi and Kabbalist who claimed to be the Jewish Messiah and eventually feigned conversion to Islam under threat of capital punishment from the Ottoman sultan Mehmed IV in 1666.[3][6][7] After Zevi's conversion to Islam,[1][3][4][6] a number of Sabbatean Jews purportedly converted to Islam while remaining secretly faithful to Judaism after their leader, and became known as the "Dönmeh".[1][3][4][8]

In the 20th century, the Dönmeh were strongly involved in the Kemalist movement, the creation of the Turkish nation-state and the political system of the Turkish Republic.[9] Many Dönmeh or other Jewish individuals, such as Hasan Tahsin, Haim Nahum Effendi, Haim Bejarano, Munis Cohen Tekinalp and Avram Galanti Bodrumlu [tr] were prominent Turkish nationalists, Kemalists or fighters in the Turkish War of Independence. Indeed, most Dönmeh and most Jews in Turkey supported the Ankara government and fought against Greece in the Greco-Turkish War,[9][10] being later cited as a loyal model minority by Turkish leaders.[11]

Some live on into 21st-century Turkey.[1][12][13][14] As of 2016, there were an estimated 2,000 non-assimilated Dönmeh in Turkey.

This is why Europe has no future. I can't talk about other countries but we used to have a similar "planned economy/industry" in France and with it we built all the nuclear plants and the high-speed rails but ever since we haven't done shit, we live only for short-term planning and obviously things are getting worse and worse and nothing is EVER done to improve things. Worse, whenever something bad happens you see the government continue being retarded and that's how the gov reduced hospital capacity during COVID and nowadays cancel environmental research during that damned heatwave.
There hasn't been anything good or exciting about the future for fucking ever.

Trump has fuckall to do with the fact the us currency is being hyper inflated and we're reaching the level of exponentiallity where the accrued debt is literally impossible to ever repay, where every new payment require a new loan lest the nation face actual bankruptcy and insolvancy. The irony is that if Trump was even an iota of the tyrant peoples claim him to be, he'd have rounded up and executed the federal reserve board long ago.

Weirdly I got pics from KFC 2024 May. Zinger burger 169 Lira in 2024 was £4.18
So was about the same if not much than in the UK.
But that was at a fast food place in a mall.
The local food might have been cheaper. But I'm not going to touch that shit.

I think European politicians have completely lost touch with reality.
Ordinary Europeans are nearly dying from the summer heat.
And after several days of meetings, the only thing European politicians came up with was to ban people from buying air conditioners and tell them to drink more water.
The goal, apparently, is to protect the environment.
They seem to have absolutely no regard for the value of people’s lives.
The collapse of the EU is only a matter of time—just like the Soviet Union.

They converted one the holiest sites of Christianity into a mosque and they gloat about it. It's a shame, the mighty Turkish colonizers have seen better days. I'm not someone who has a "fuck these people for the sins of their ancestors" attitude, but since they make a point to be extra cunty, may the tales of their glorious Turkish past and the big-mouthed speeches of their mighty watermelon salesman keep them wealthy and fed. Your life savings turned into toilet paper? You hardly have enough for bread, eggs and a couple of tomatoes? So sorry. It's also extra funny when diaspora Turks vote for the mighty Erdogan. Why the fuck should they care about the economic situation? They can buy cheap houses and live like Efendi during summer vacation. Erdogan delivers for them. I also hope there won't be a war between Israel and Turkey, both countries are very near and dear to my heart, I couldn't stand the thought of anything happening to both of them.

Vote driven policy wasn't that bad when europe and the usa had industry tycoons and mostly family owned businesses. They had to plan everything decades ahead. They needed a cheap energy and developing nuclear was a no brainer. But now it's all trust fund nepobabies and corporations that don't think any further than the next few quarters. They couldn't care less what will be in 10 years. Well, the nepo babies should, but all they do is decide who manages their funds and that manager has to show immidiate results. Huge profits in a decade will be a hard sell for him. Even slightly lower returns now is a deal breaker for spoiled brats.
>>
>>539165903
You can absolutely reverse-colonize them for cheap, friend. Buy a house for spare change. Rent a couple of Aylin's and Zeynep's, no need to marry right away. It's chill now they are much more western. Show them the modern western life, make them moan a bit. The parents won't mind, and if they do just give them 20 EUR each and they will sing "Deutschland, Deutschland über alles."
