So it attracts a lot of ambitious young people, but the smart ones either get disgusted by the artsy fartsy nonsense and the stupidity, or simply creating graphics isn't enough for them and once they have some skills, they graduate to another field like Web Dev, Video production, etc, where their graphic design skills add value, but most importantly, they stop calling themselves a graphic designer.If you meet someone older than mid/late 20's who identifies as a graphic designer, it's usually a woman or a gay man. Most men need more gratification from their work than simply making a graphic.Furthermore, anyone skilled in multimedia should be ecstatic about AI. It multiplies what you can accomplish. Basically like having your own studio. You just need to figure out a good way to execute. The only ones who truly got rugged are people whose passion was digital painting.
