The US spending on medical programs are absurd to say the least. The amount being paid by gov yearly should be enough to cover health care for every american citizen but it is heavy dependent on taxes payers. I say it's much more practical to fund only elderly and disabled fully and only provides money to cover minor health issues for those in perfect condition to work and pay it for themselves. That's how it should be and as such the prices would be based on income and the treatment must follow a set of norms stablished by the doctors as a way to prevent those getting less money to receive a defective treatment.
