In the West we are constantly told we need to upgrade cars and that if they have a lot of mileage or repairs they are a write off yet people are still driving around the Middle East and the Arab world in cars from decades ago and they consistently run fine. Same thing with trucks. You see people driving 1970s looking pick up trucks through the rubble in Iran, Gaza, Syria and Yemen and these trucks aren't breaking down.
>>539191368Because you're retards who take marketing bait
>>539191452https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence
>>539191368no rust and more importantly no moneyyou see 1970s shitboxes in the mediterranean european countries like italy/greece/spain and california too as daily drivers
I would gladly drive a brand new 1984 spec Toyota Corolla. Its a shame car manufacturing is so Jewish. Nobody except women and faggots really cares what their daily driver looks like. Make it safe, comfortable and bullet proof.A 1995 toyota 4 cylinder pickup will prety much never die. They should just reissue those old classics new from the factory.
>>539191368as long as the body does not rust (hello desert climate) you can overhaul a simple mechanical engine multiple times it does't have any computers, everything is mechanicalas long as you can obtain or fabricate the mechanical bits and pieces, it can last forever
>>539191368Peugeot, Fiat, Mercedes and Toyota sold some of the right and plans of some of their models to local automotive factories in the middle east and asia and they are still producing those 90's models today.a good example is the Peugeot 405
>>539191368My mechanic, who I rarely need, is from Pakistan. I am a literal hillbilly from a backwoods farm. Both of us can keep old vehicles running forever because both of us started learning how to fix things at age 10. I could drive a stick shift truck at age 12. So could he. I can also hook a laptop up to a Toyota and reprogram it. So can he. Liberal shits don't understand any of this.
>no electronics>no safety features>consumes a lot more>it loses parts every few weeks
>>539191368Third worlder here.Repairing those vehicles is kind of easy since they mostly have mechanical and electrical components. Almost any part can be made in a machine shop. You dont have that kind of sollutions because your mechanics are more like "I only use original parts"
>>539191368No rust. Most vehicles last a long time without that horrid thing tearing them down. Also for every one of those seen running there are 10 in the back for picking parts.
>>539191368No computer.
>>539191368No rust, I wouldn't mind driving my Mazda for another 10 years but the rust is getting to it. Even if it wasn't for government "incentives" that "encourage" people to drive newer cars, it's simply impossible to daily drive a car if you live in a country with proper winter, the salt and chemicals eat at the metal.
>>539197678This is the answer, they want 24 7 surveillance and the ability to shut your car off at any time if you aeent a good boy
>>539192447>They should just reissue those old classics new from the factory. They could if it weren't for gay karen safety regs.>car must now have lane departure warnings and constantly beep at you>muh pedestrian impact zones>c02 emmission gayness

>>539197462>oops, the operating system in your 2024 Tabletmobile has encountered an error and must be updated...
>>539191368You have to drive one hour to work, and it better be dependable, if not you are fired. No you're next employer will look at your past work history. You're destiny is your responsibility, not some man made God in Judaism, Islam, Christianity. Speed limit is 70
>>539191368Once they get old enough they become cool again.
>>539191368they didnt have the abwrackprämiesome government programwhere you got a rebate (government subsidy) on a new car if you junked your old one
>>539191368>environments too arid for shit to rust>not exposed to corrosive road salt>y dey cars guud tho? When did bongs become retarded?
>>539191368my dad had that FIAT back in the 1970s. Good car for the time.
Because no snow, no salt. My weeb ride is falling apart from all that... don't think it's going to pass next inspection
>>539191368Lack of Humidity
>>539191368They cost more to upkeep and run compared to a newer econoshitboxThey are a coffin if you crash going over 75kphUncomfortable and harder to drive compared to new vehiclesWomen think they're for brokies and won't fugg you (most important)
>>539191368Exponential growth, goy. Do (you) want to be left behind?
>>539191368>and they run fineDefine run fine. Cuba had a lot of 40's and 50's American cars on it's streets, but I wouldn't call them "running fine". A lot of them were modified and repaired using parts from farming machines that often wouldn't fit without major modifications.
>>539191368because they don't have to pay off some bozo every year to keep driving it.
>>539191368Because the desert climate prevents rising and because they are poor, so they work on their cars instead of upgrading to new ones. It works the same here in the USA. Whenever I am in shithole desert towns it is like I’m in a Time Machine.
>>539191368They still made those basic hulls in this century, btw.You can only tell the progress of time by the interior plastics changing. The worldover there is so devoid of cars a d hungry for material, factories can literally churn out models that are 20 years behind tech
