I have a political theory called "differentiation".People like to differentiate themselves from others based on basic qualities, like their appearance, race, gender, sexuality, nationality, region etc, basically anything that can be put in a cluster with other people, form a "caste" based on some quantifiable data to contrast to other people.This differentiation has some natural basis, but most of it is just political intentional behavior created by society.Tribalism is not a new theory, but it has become something more complex now.Identities overlap, intersect, and are basically brands in a capitalist society.We work for them, we work for the group and for the identity we choose, because we want to feel better than others and fight for survival in a complex, competitive reality.Nit saying this is good or bad, just saying how it works.
