I run my pool pump at night for 7 hours instead of during the day for 12. This sounds like a joke, but pool pumps are like 60% of a residential home's electric bill (if you have a pool).

Used solar panels are getting pretty cheap. Run it all day without the power company at all.

I always get long term fixed price energy contracts.

People on leddit downvoted me when I told them it's better to pay something you know you can afford, than take a risk with your expenses. But the prices have been kind to me. My contract expires next year during the summer though.

i actually love the way they handle. the roads here aren't great so the first thing i learned about trikes is just leaning out a bit on either side so you slightly lift one of the back wheels off the ground. thats key to avoiding sudden potholes you didnt see or anything else in the road. it also helps getting used to the turning since any sharp turns and youre going up on 2 wheels anyways. sidewalks suck the most because the slabs are so uneven in some places where a normal bike could zigzag around it. originally i didnt have or want a spring seat, but i had to get one for comfort. they suck after a few miles of pedaling though which is why this is for 2 miles or under, i wouldnt mind having a motor, mine is a basic 3sp strumey archer hub which does well enough for around town flats

another nice thing about trikes is they are rare so i think your average driver thinks it must be someone slow/retarded riding it, so they are extra nice about giving you room and paying attention in general. i'm neither but i'll take it when people are extra safe around me

You gotta be careful while making curves in medium to high speed, particularly dangereous if going downhill and needs a sharp turn. One tip is to slowing down a little bit ahead of the curve and don't try to use your body to control the trike, only try and control the handlebars. I just want a new bike, thinking about getting a urban gravel bike.

Well never because that's what the taxes add up to
>>
>>539213580
Why is that thing up his ass?
>>
Hey retards.
Start a business.
It only costs mmyou thirty cents a mile to drive an F350 and you can write off seventy cents a mile if you buy a cheap trinket for yiur "business" on each trip and keep the receipt. You can have all kinds of LLC's for every purpose.
You need brake shoes for your truck? Write off on your auto repair business and supply your tax ID number as well so you don't have to pay taxes.
This is how the rich get richer and how they got rich in the first place.
Only poor people pay taxes.
Stop being poor

The OVO bird pecks the poor in my country. OVO is a bird of prey. I told them to stick their bills up their asses. The homo fascist state will side with them and fuck my shit up. No real reason for bills to go up so much. They are just sticking it to the poor. Sad!

Energy prices didn't affect me 10 years ago and they don't affect me now. Only difference I see is on the internet where people whine more about it. I don't know anyone IRL who has problems with energy prices. Maybe it's an american thing?

people on my local facebook are always complaining about $500-900 energy bills and i honestly dont understand what the fuck theyre
doing mine is average $130/month maybe ill hit $200 on a real cold month if i crank the baseboards up or have the dehumid going 24/7
but i dont really make an effort to conserve energy at all, i use tungsten lighting and do tons of laundry so i really dont understand what prople are up to getting these crazy bills
