We've got about 30,000 of them left by most estimates, and that's nothing compared to the literal millions of sites which have been drilled. We're finished. It's done. It's peak oil. We have apparently enough tier-2 and tier-3 fracking sites to produce oil for the next 11 years, technically, but the problem with this is that it costs far more to produce than what oil is actually worth. So the government has to pay big subsidies or nationalize the oil companies, and the US runs on capitalism, where we refuse to nationalize our oil infrastructure even if it's unprofitable.
