How can you be so so so close and yet so far. She knows the countries are bad and would never even visit due to moral and safety concerns. The ones that come over make her feel unsafe and unwelcome in her own European home. Even the fucking children who were born in or moved to Europe at a young age do not respect her or anyone else for that matter. How does one experience all this and not finally put it all together?
