It was the year shit came crashing down, and the economy still hasn't fully recovered to pre-2008 levels, we just lowered the bar on our standards and let economic predators carry on. For younger millennials the only real good jobs were in tech, but the hiring of women over men, etc, had already started. By the time I was in college feminism and gay bullshit was everywhere.
