Laws favor homeowners and asset hoarders as opposed to labor. Strict labor laws keep people out of the workforce, as corrupt unions jack of wages for the well-connected. The Civil Service is very nepotistic, and housing is super expensive because property owners lobby to restrict supply.Socialism isn't about some viva-la revolution and storming the gates of Bastile, we're talking about using Democratic reform to reshape society in favor of the worker, the real worker (not the elite nepo babies making $100k in bullshit roles). We're talking lowering income tax on middle class earners so people can save up and BUY the means of production themselves via stocks. We're talking deregulating the gatekeepers so people can actually get a fucking job after getting their certs. We're talking about taxing the big corporations at 50% so people don't have to go bankrupt paying rent and buying food. We're talking about building affordable housing to get rent down.
