If you were born by accident once, and everything we can see in the universe seems to be based on repetitive cycles, then wouldn't it be illogical to think you won't be accidentally born again? Reincarnation just makes scientific sense. Linear Time Enthusiasts tongue my anus. This is political because a lot of people think they need to choose between Abrahamism and Eternal Nothingness, but the reality is that there's a solid argument to be made for Cyclical Time in an atheist context>but I won't remember anything, do what's the pointWould you rather die or just have amnesia? >>539256845>everything we can see in the universe seems to be based on repetitive cyclesSays who? This is the foundation of your entire point, the least you could do is support it.
>>539257446>the universe is infinite and so is lifeI have one small problem with this. Eventually the universe will collapse. Sure it could 850 quadrillion years but it will stop expanding at some point and bounce back like a rubber band. Then what?
>>539256845>Soiboi chud simp reincarnation: your immaterial metaphysical soul travels to another body when you die>master race aryan ubermensch chad reincarnation: the universe follows a cyclical cosmology model, the end of the universe triggers a new big bang which produces an identical universe and after a long superdeterministic causal chain of events you are born again to live the exactly same life you have been living since forever, you cannot change anything and you're not aware of anything. Eternal recurrence.
Reincarnation is real, and it is generation. You are your ancestors re incarnate, and your progeny is you. There arent souls floating aound waiting to inhabit some random vessel. The "lottery" idea that people talk about ie genetic lottery, is liberal nonsense.

>>539257446Time is absolutely a dimension just like longitude and the others, we just dont perceive it that way cause we are trapped in this plane. To understand it just reduce it so your brain can understand. Imagine a universe that is 2 dimensional and the third dimension ia their time. Each moment of what they experience as time is just a superposition of two dimensional flat planes that get stack across the third dimension like pages in a book. We are in a 4 dimensional book .ade of three dimensional pages.

the thing is, if you die, and then something appears somewhere that retains all your memories and your sense of self...does your current consciousness actually continue into that thing? or does that thing, which is wholly new, merely have the impression of retaining all your memories while in fact it was simply created with that impression of having your memories?many scenarios are possible, but if consciousness cannot make leaps, none of them have anything to do with (you)

Our language, is not even capable of meaningfully talking about consciousness and reincarnation, since our language derives from the physical world in which we all share, where consciousness does not exist.

>>539260717>im sorry for you buddythe only thing I feel sympathy for is your reliance on ancient texts to explain modern reality.you really think reading Plotinus makes you transcend the physical? lmao. >>539260858And thats even ignoring the fact that for a universe to exist there has to be a law that determines how it works. A law that is "prior" to the universe. Without it, it cannot even start.Otherwise its like claiming a videogame or virtual reality doesnt need a code that determines a priori how that virtual reality began works and functions. And where there is a code there is a coder...>Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.>20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools
>>539261291>A lawyour "laws" arent pre existing instructions tho.the "laws" are emergent properties of complex electromagnetic interactions. so you are still trying to find the jew god because your brain cant wrap itself around a system that functions perfectly well via self organizing non equilibrium thermodynamics without any divine oversight.

>>539261750>nothing made everything.things don't "obey" laws like they are following instructions. things move because of their inherent physical properties.a magnet doesnt know the laws of magnetism and yet it simply reacts to an opposing field.you also assume the universe must have had a beginning. thats an unproven assumption.and in a cyclical, fractal, or infinite plasma universe model there is no T=0.there is only constant eternal movement and transformation of energy.you see still no jew god needed.
>>539261264lol you literally didn't refute what I said. If energy goes from a high state to a low state then what force puts the energy into a high state? What is the first cause that things "react" to?
Attached as we have been to wives, sons, daughters, kingdoms-Still now they are lost forever. For how many lifetimes will we subject ourselvesto painful labor of body, speech and thought? It is time to stop.
>>539262197>What is the first cause that things "react" to?a gradient. thats it. that's your answer.basically there is only the perpetual redistribution of energy across varying potentials.also learn the difference between an event and a cause.
>>539262335and where does the gradient come from?
>>539256845I just don't care for your paganist nonsense.
>>539262384obviously from the interaction itself.these gradients are a byproduct of spatial distribution and field tension so if you have two cosmic scale filaments of plasma with differing charge densities or temperatures passing near each other, then a gradient is the result of that movement.the gradient is basically a manifestation of the difference in potential between those points.
>>539262504lol anon where did the filaments come from? You're not grasping the spirit of the question. If someone can still ask where did X come from then you haven't answered the question "where did the universe come from?"
>>539256845As long as life exists we will always return. Just like we were born here
>>539262593if a god can exist without a creator then why can't a universe exist without a creator? this is like the simplest comparison between those two
>>539262593The same place your "first mover" came from. The main difference is that you add an unnecessary middleman
>>539262670Maybe the universe is a god. It looks like a brain when combined into one image
>>539262593No you are failing to grasp the paradigm shift.your spirit of the question assumes a linear timeline where everything starts at zero.that is a very limited view of existence.in the non linear, cyclical/infinite electromagnetic universe that we obviously live in things dont come from a single moment of creation.they emerge from the ongoing eternal processes of field interactions and energy redistribution.
>>539262104You're just replacing one unexplained fact with another. Saying matter has "inherent properties" isn't an explanation. Why does matter have those properties instead of different ones, or none at all?Listing cyclical or plasma universe models... They're speculative, and even an eternal universe doesn't explain why an eternal, law governed reality exists in the first place. And I never argued that magnets literally "follow instructions." You are strawmaning, friend. The question is why reality is intelligible and governed by consistent regularities at all.So ending with "no God needed" is just an assertion. You haven't actually answered the question.
I want to go back to the void.
>>539262732>It looks like a brain when combined into one imagetheres a catch tho, the Latency.basically intelligence requires coherence, which is the ability to integrate information across a system faster than the state of that system changes.on the human or even AI scale, we deal with nanoseconds and milliseconds.but on a galactic scale governed by the speed of light the propagation delay is astronomical and too slow.so even if the cosmic web has the structural complexity of a neural network it probably lacks the temporal density required for any real computation.like if a "thought" in a galactic circuit takes a billion years to traverse its own architecture the system can never actually hold the thought.the input becomes obsolete before the output can be processed.so sure we might see self organizing dissipative structures at every scale but there is likely something like a "Goldilocks Zone" for intelligence.you kinda need enough complexity to process data but low enough latency to maintain coherence.so these electromagnetic forces create incredible structure but at the macro scale they move too slowly to build anything truly intelligent.so the universe isnt necessarily dumb it just kinda lacks the clock speed to be conscious.we live in the only scale where the physics actually allows for a coherent signal.
>>539262792>you haven't actually answered the questionI didn't answer your assumption, which was wrong.you assumed everything needs a discrete starting cause but in a cyclical plasma based universe (the one we live in) the cause is the ongoing flux itself.matter has its properties because the geometry dictates stability and a tetrahedron stays together because of how spheres pack, a nucleus stays together because electrons act as sort of glue within a dense structure.so if you still think you need a foreskin munching jew God to explain why a proton and electron pair up then you simply don't understand physics.
>>539256845fuck off demiurge
>>539263181You're still answering a different question. Explaining how particles interact does not explain why there is a reality with those properties, geometry, and mathematical structure in the first place. Saying "the ongoing flux is the cause" just makes the flux the unexplained foundation. You haven't eliminated a first principle, you've simply renamed it. Why does an eternal flux exist, and why does it follow consistent mathematical rules? Appealing to a "cyclical plasma universe" doesn't prove that model is true, and even an eternal universe would still leave the question of why there is something rather than nothing, nobody is claiming a proton and electron need God as a replacement for physics. Physics explains the mechanisms. The philosophical question is why there is a universe capable of having mechanisms, laws, and intelligible structure at all. Saying "geometry does it" describes the pattern; it doesn't explain why that pattern exists.
>>539263481>You haven't eliminated a first principle, you've simply renamed it.and you are assuming that every process requires a discrete external reasoner to initiate it.that is a bias of human perception and not a requirement of reality.if a system is eternal and cyclical the first principle is the inherent stability of the loop itself.so no I am not renaming God I am simply removing the unnecessary middleman of "intent" by showing that the system is self causal through geometric and electromagnetic constraints.>Why does matter have those properties instead of different ones, or none at all?because any other configuration would not result in a stable structure, matter exists as stable geometrical packings (like the icosahedron) resulting from spherical dense packing.a proton electron pair (PEP) is the inevitable structural outcome of electrostatic attraction and charge density requirements and the properties dont exist before the interaction they are the mathematical description of the interaction itself. remember math is a derivative of reality.so matter actually doesnt have "properties", matter is the behavior of energy in motion.>Why there is something rather than nothing, why an eternal flux exists?in a non equilibrium thermodynamic universe existence is a gradient and there is only the continuous transition between states of energy.basically the flux doesnt need a reason because the flux is the baseline.>saying geometry does it describes the pattern it doesn't explain why that pattern existsyou still think the pattern and the reality are two separate things when they arent.math is the derivative of physical reality. how many times do I have to repeat this?geometry (the tetrahedron, the PEP etc) is the constraint that allows the pattern to persist.mathematical laws are what we call the observable result of particles interacting under specific geometric constraints.
>>539262670>>539262719God is beyond logic. The material universe is not so it's not the same thing. >>539262746You answer to where all the matter and energy in the universe came from is "it just did"
>>539264610>It just didexactly. energy doesnt ask permission from a foreskin obsessed jew God before it moves.it just follows the gradient.this is called dynamics buddy. you should look into it.
>>539264743lol ok so you have an incredible amount of faith of magic entropy reversal and reverse causality. Also "Because I did that" is usually what a nigger says when asked why he commited a crime
>>539256845>born by accidentWat.OP. There is no "born by accident." Someone put a dick in a vagina. Anyone that tells you any part of that is "accidental" is a lying piece of shit you should make a point of yelling at regularly. In fact, go yell at your mother right now. She fucking deserves it.
>>539264853>magic entropy reversalI never mentioned entropy reversal you absolute moron and you dont even know what you just said.also you are clearly too stupid to understand local vs. universal entropy.a system can decrease its internal entropy by exporting more disorder to its surroundings via energy flux. thats literally how every living thing and star works.its called a dissipative structure and its not magic.>Because I did thatactually reality isnt an intentional actor the universe doesnt say "I did that." The universe just is.you are trying way too hard to apply human agency (crime/criminal) to a field interaction where agency doesnt even exist.
>>539265238lol you're hiding the fact that you have no answers with barely sequitur jargon. You're not contending with the simple fact that something had to cause the big bang. I'm not asking for an explanation on the interaction of energy. Again you are answering the wrong question and in fact physicist will not wax about filaments and how stars work when you ask what came before the big bang which is to ask where all the energy in the universe came from. "Because I said so" isn't an answer.
>>539265471>something had to cause the big bangthere was no big bang.thats a failed model of cosmology propped up by desperate jews.
>>539265640yes preach your religion based on neither faith or science

>>539256845Unlikely, I mean I haven't died afaik but the conditions are unlikely. We would need some sort of bounded space that continues evolution through time BUT ONLY as it appears right now or in our past. Too many requests of reality.
