Will the USA ever be able to start expanding land into the ocean like the Chinese ? Knocking down much of the Appalachian mountains the USA could reconnect Florida and Louisiana. The biggest problem with this would be negros leaving NOLA for Miami and Orlando From AI Slop: Florida and Louisiana were directly connected during the Last Glacial Maximum (the peak of the last Ice Age), but today they are slowly moving further apart, not closer together.
