What is it about Hollywood and politics that quickly turns everyone in those industries into a whackjob?
Personally I think these politicians and celebrities know they’ve done terrible things to get famous, and the guilt follows them around and eats them alive as they try to avoid facing it. They are constantly running away from their own conscience and it drives them mad. I also think most male celebrities get jumped into Hollywood (by having to kill someone and show their loyalty to the tribe) and the female ones get sexed in, just like a gang. The more hardcore and evil female celebs (like Ellen, Hillary, Marina Abramovic, Lady Gaga, Oprah etc) probably murder kids too to show how dedicated they are.

Know how you kinda reflect unexpectedly on things you have done in your life and you feel cringe or shame or just overall wish wouldn't have done or said that, these people have all that documented and can never just forget it. Chomping on a sandwich and drop an onion in your lap at the sidewalk cafe is memorialized. Ever drunkenly touched a boob while making out, you never know if you will end up in Rikers in a wheelchair.
