Cheap to make.
Return on investment high.
Retards think it helps them and it's health food.
Pick one.
>>
>>539271118
Probably just taking food waste and putting it into shit for more money.
>>
good for subhuman npc tier goyim thinking the bigger their muscles the more attractive they are when in reality they are stuck in DYEL mode and just fart a lot

you're fat as shit

Protein from animal sources is the best way to build muscle from lifting. You should eat it before or just after so its bioavailable when your muscles are being rebuilt after you ravage them with exercise. The fact that protein is in all sorts of other products is just a result of /fit/ becoming a cultural powerhouse.

I know you browns can't afford meat though, so go ahead and cope, seeth, and dialate for me.
>>
>>539271222
I’m a milk fag since birth so my protein levels have always been significant. I’ll tell ya! It’s amounted to Jack fucking shit. YEAH!
>>
>>539271222
Somewhat correct but eating protein is correlated with modest gains in functional strength at certain thresholds. Even without training.

spike proteins
>>
>>539271118
fat is bad and carbs are bad therefore the only macro left is protein.
>>
Because its really important, even more as you age because of sarcopenia.
If you dont want to end up a frail and useless old man, make sure to meet your protein needs.
Also a maintenance dose of 5g/day of creatine has been proven to stave off sarcopenia as well.

>from animal sources
no upsides, lots of downsides
it's just unhealthier, that's all

big pharma wants more kidney problems
>>
>>539271780
There is literally nothing wrong with a high protein diet as long as your kidneys are healthy.
Your argument would be as stupid as saying
>well aschchually exercise is bad for you if you have a broken knee
no shit Sherlock

Saw Cheerios protein bars

I would eat just oats and chocolate, peanut butter, fruit, or some cream if sold as real ingredients. They could have followed the trend of real food, not of preservatives and onions/pe/whey concentrate.

Food companies adapt very quickly in order to keep selling slop
It was fat-free slop, then slop+fiber, now its slop+protein, etc
Dont let such tactics let you take your eyes off the ball: protein is important, just dont make slop your source of protein

>>539272383
what does that has to do with anything I said
>>
It's just a fad that will blow over, like low carb and low fat.

The annoying thing is they've pushed up the prices of whey for people who actually train.
>>
>>539271118
High protein toilet paper not only helps your gainz, but is cheaper as well!

It's literally ground peas

>>539272467
nvm I realized you're retarded.
>>
>>539271118
Because brands can charge more for PROTEIN specific items to already existing food products by simply adding an extra 2g of protein. That's an extra $3 goy.

It's cheaper to buy steak here than protein. I buy it to help me meat my macros.
>>
>>539271118
>HIGH PROTONS!!!
>8g of protein
It's for retarded people, for not retarded people nothing has changed discounted meat (usually chicken) and whey, it's literally all you need. Your body can only saturate itself with so much amino acids within a given period.
But that's ok because I don't want retarded people eating my chicken or whey anyways. Retarded people deserve to be weak and stupid.

It's called Brotein now. Get it right.

What's the cheapest lowest-effort way to get the protein each day? I cannot stand protein powder because it's so hard to clean the fucking cup no matter how much I stir it it always clumps up. I need 160g protein a day. Preferably something I don't have to cook and something that costs less than 60 dollars a month. I heard some shit about concentrated gluten protein but idk if that's legit or how hard it is to get.

> cheap to make

It's to hide/distract from the high-carb content of all modern foods

A large reason protein prices have gone to the moon is because food companies found out normietards respond to "high protein!" on the side and maybe the bar has got 5g tops more protein in it than before, scale this up and now these companies are buying all the whey.

Just pray that this fad ends, it's like how tallow used to be really cheap and once again, normie/carnivore tards ruined it and you can sometimes find tallow now that's more expensive than the meat it was cut from, which shows how retarded this is.
>>
>>539273032
Warm water (works faster than cold), give it a stir then leave it for half an hour, come back and drink it or pour it out.
>>
>>539271118
Because obese men like in OPs video believe if they eat a lot of protein and build huge useless muscles it will excuse their obesity.
