We have grown accustomed to blaming everything on mobile phones, algorithms, and social media. But the truth is more uncomfortable: the internet did not invent hypocrisy; it merely amplified—like a megaphone—what our society already is deep down.
We live in a culture that has given up on seeing the human being as an individual. No one is judged anymore by their character, their choices, or their genuine accountability for their actions. Instead, society has reduced us to labels: our skin color, our social group, and our political affiliation have come to matter more than our own conscience.
On one side, we see a society sick with performative activism. People engage in empty self-flagellation, feigning shame for their own existence or attempting to justify barbaric acts and serious crimes under the guise of social causes. This is neither empathy nor moral evolution; it is a prejudiced paternalism that diminishes others' capacity to be responsible agents of their own actions.
On the other side, we see selective and blind judgment. We see the coldness of those who exploit someone’s mistakes to bypass the law and validate violence—provided the victim does not belong to their preferred group.
Society has turned into a vast stadium where people no longer seek truth or genuine justice; they simply want their "team" to win, at any cost. Intellectual honesty has been traded for a desperate desire to belong to a tribe and appear morally superior to others.
I refuse to be part of this machinery. I reject the social logic that dictates I should feel guilty for who I am, just as I reject the notion that I should turn a blind eye to injustice or infantilize a criminal because of their skin color. True human dignity exists only when we return to judging people by their individual actions, rather than by the narrative society attempts to impose upon us. As long as we continue to trade individual responsibility for the comfort of collective cowardice.

Say it again so I can laugh the second hardest I have all year

Ya man just puff some ganja and learn to see those beautiful black women for who they really are

I'm sure you'll be smart when you turn 24 though.
