Very woke, buys into the same 1990s white British people are responsbilbe for Stephen Lawrence shit. Very feminist too, a weak man.

He has promised the earth and will fail to deliver it. In particular he talks up devolving power and localism - but every region and county when given a chan ce will say the same thing: "We don't want to put 800 house estates in our ancient villages to house Africans and Indians" - at which point he will probably try to centralise power and crush local democracy to build houses for the immigrants. He is already trying to claim the housing shortage was caused by Thatcher.

An imbecile basically - I sincerely think people will end up missing old Two Tier Kier.

So all that nonsense about digital IDs was entirely Stamer’s own decision?

Much as I hate digital ID and simply want to return to the old ways, deport all foreingers and live in freedom - Burnham cancelling it just means there won't even be the pretence of trying to stop the never ending stream of Indians pouring in to work as food delivery drivers or mini cab drivers.

It was because she sold off lots of council housing stock which depleted the housing supply. She also failed to build social housing and the private market never filled the void. Her housing act also created a generation of parasite private landlords which depleted the housing stock even further. Then Cameron's Tories had the lowest level of house building since the 1920s. You call Burnham an imbecile yet you don't have a grasp of basic facts about the history of housing in Britain.

It was decided in 2006 by Blair but he could never get the support in his own party. Its an article of faith for the Labour right, Starmer was trying to show dominance by reviving it. "I can make you eat shit" turns out you can't.

It was, that isn't debated by anyone. Even Iain Duncan Smith admitted it when he was leader. Thatcher brought in right to buy, several layers of restrictions on planning and made it illegal to invest the proceeds of right to buy in building more council houses. The creation of a housing shortage was deliberate and intentional, she was very proud of it.

I have no idea who you can be listening to that would deny it.

It was more about forcing his party to accept things, this was the doing of Mandelson and Morgan McSweeney. The Labour party has always been a coalitional party from its formation, McSweeney had a vision of purging and destroying the factions. But in the end Starmer ended up sawing the bridge out from under his own feet like in a Roadrunner cartoon.

Time will show. We all know politicians promise gold and utopia type futures, and then it just ends up as another clusterfuck and nothing happens.
But we will see. IF the policies actually happens, at least a few of them, UK will have a way better future. If factories, housing, and higher standard of living happens, that is what matters. Plus if UK start focusing on commodities that always is needed and no more than ever, that will make the country way more sustainable for the future to come. Plus a structure in their immigration policy along with taking care of those fuckers who cause all the shit that they do and pay the price for their crimes.
I love UK and go there all the time. Really based and hard working people who deserve way more than they have actually recieved. All fingers crossed.

Bullshit. Pure bullshit.

It's a GOOD thing when people can own their own home and have a stake in society. It doesn't mean the house disappears you fuckwit, people still live in it.

The reason for the housing shrotage is Blair and Boris in aprticular brought in several million foreigners into a densely populated country. The fact that Thatcher allowed working people to buy a house has fuck all to do with it.

Half the social housing in London is used to house foreigners, it's absurd.

>>buys into the same 1990s white British people are responsbilbe for Stephen Lawrence shit

The left in Britain had long tried to bring in political policing. You see it today with routine arrests and jail time for white people who say things online.

The polcie used to be a genuinely neutral upholder of laws. In 1983 the left openly campaigned to bring in politicla control over policing and the public did not like it.

So in the 90s Blair, (((Mandelson))) and (((Straw))) used another tactic. A black man called Stephen Lawrence was murdered by a white gang. The media and politicans ignored all the crimes including viscous murders against white people and latched on to this one. They falsely claimed that the British poeople and polcie were "racist". A big report found no evidence that the polcie had acted in a hostile way due to skin colour but nonethless said the polcie are "institutionally racist". That at heart is how the polcie became so politicised that today they take the knee for BLM while arresting white poeple who express dissident opinions. And Burnham has spoken openly about the Lawrence case, about how he (falsely) believed it was representative of bad old Britain and how much better the country became because of the changes that followed.

Just one of the many thigns to remember, he likes to push the image of himself as a normal man but he's a life-long leftist politician who is intensely political and hostile to old England.
>>
>>539284198
Yes, we would have kept building. There is no magically about it. If you own thousands of houses collecting rent you have to resources to build more.

Indeed, if you sold a third of the housing stock in the UK (which is what she did) you'd have the money to build more only Thatcher took the cash and used it for boomer tax cuts.

>>
>>539284463
Only a small percentage of council tenants were dole heads. Honestly, you are clearly a teenager that has no idea what it was like, read a book or something.

We currently spend 38.8 billion on housing benefit and have nothing to show for it, a majority of the money leaves the country with foreign landlords (mainly Indian and Pakistani). Wouldn't it be better to spend 38.8 billion on building homes here rather than palaces in Karachi?
>>
Just another institution shill. At best they chose him because they want to stop the revolving door of Prime Ministers we've had since David Cameron Brexited number 10, but this only benefits the opposition of course, which would be every major party even Reform which lowkey shills for Israel.

>China
You have your own goals of course. You may also cling to communist ideology and believe in the "workers of the world", a nice sentiment, but mass immigration of 'jeets and africans isn't how you go about practicing it. In any case the institution that now runs our country is degenerate, unstable and deranged, for example allowing 250k girls to be raped by muslims because it would be "islamophobic" to do anything about it. Your police are corrupt, but they'd never go that far, you actually arrest fewer people for social media posts than we do.

You have to decide whether you want to deal with fellow human beings like us or the abomination that has spawned in the west.

The blame falls on more than Thatcher, and letting decent working people be able to buy council homes who could never otherwise afford a private one will always be a good idea.
The unending mass migration, the ever increasing government size, the ever widening net of welfare, foreign ownership of land and businesses have all had larger effects on the housing market than Thatcher letting people buy a council home.

I do, I explicitly said it was intentional at the start of being harangued.
>>
>>539284615
>How do we still have Thatcher fans is beyond me

Hardly a fan. But allowing people to own their own home is a very good thing for society. Indeed the proof is in the pudding - by the time Thatcher finished there were enough houses for the population and an ever growing number of people were able to own their own home. It's hardly her fault Blair and Boris brought in millions of foreigners and caused a shortage of houses.
>>
>>539284747
The real problem was taking the proceeds rather than reinvesting them.

Although that said nobody stayed in their council house after buying it, they sold it on to Mr Khan and Mr Singh and pocketed the difference. This was the start of taxpayers pumping house prices of course. So that is a bit of a fiction.

It started way back when Home Secretary Blunkett was told by the civil service that "we have no idea who is in the country and on what basis".
