I've never tipped and never paid at a sit down restaurant, I only go when it's a retirement or work function and just leave to go for a smoke after I eat, so far, so good
if you're rich you just pay the 20% or higher ... if you're not you can reduce certain things - you don't have to tip on the bottles of wine you ordered, you certainly don't tip on the tax and you can just tip a straight 15% on the rest - acceptable if you have any issue with this you are a savage who has never learned about dining out and the customs of restaurant culture
