There's a "breakeven price" for oil, which has been rising because we drilled out all of our tier-1 fracking sites. This "breakeven price" was higher than the price of oil, prior to the Iran war.

What this meant was that every US oil company was about to fold. They weren't talking about it in the MSM, because their purpose is, in part, to distract you from anything important.

This is why we went into Iran, and will remain in Iran, forever. As an intentional quagmire. Our goal, presuming we're unable to just rob them of their own oil entirely, is to just force the strait to remain closed indefinitely, drive the price of oil up past this breakeven price, and keep our oil companies profitable once more.

This is the whole reason we're at war right now. Just for oil CEOs. Just because the USA opposes socialism to the point where it will not even nationalize oil companies when they've completely failed.
>>
This breakeven price is continuing to rise as time goes on and ensuring that, essentially, if the strait of hormuz ever reopens, the United States economy will collapse.
>>
Here. Here this is from the EIA, from january.

>Much of our crude oil production forecast hinges on domestic crude oil prices, especially for onshore production in the Lower 48 United States. We forecast the West Texas Intermediate crude oil price will fall from its 2025 average of $65 per barrel (b) to $52/b in 2026 and $50/b in 2027. These prices are lower than recent breakeven production prices. Oil industry executives responding to the Dallas Fed Energy survey report the two largest basins in the Permian had breakeven prices of $61/b (Midland Basin) and $62/b (Delaware Basin).

I mean, there you have it. That is your whole motive for this war.
>>
This whole thing. All of these murders. Just because you people are capitalists, and won't acknowledge when your private oil sector, which is based upon just pure corruption, failed.
>>
Is this your first war in the middle east?

Tell me what it was about my comment, which was just factual information which westerners are not being told, which would make you upset to where you have to post a pointlessly antagonistic comment?

Our media is covering-up why the war is happening in hopes people will blame the jews. Obviously, this is your agenda here on /pol/, as well.

>Just because you people are capitalists
Because a non-capitalist government would never do bad things to advance national interests.
"Oh no, these evil billionaires control all that wealth, if only a group of unelected bureaucrats who shemed their way to the top would control it instead". When you "nationalize" a company that does not mean YOU own the company. It just means a political elite owns the company. And if you think political elites always have your best interest at heart you are beyond retarded.

Furthermore American profits is only one factor. Your analysis is too monocausal.
Israel is losing its grip on younger americans, so it is their last chance to start this type of war. Bibi and Kushner have been heavily influencing Trump and american public opinion. Ignoring this fact is dishonest.
Venezuela and Iran are supplying their oil to China. Venezuela has been dealt with, Iran is the next step. Meanwhile China is trying to choke the American military industrial complex by restricting rare earths. The conflict of America vs China is already here, and Iran is a part of this.

no. it's only capitalist nations invading countries for oil. jews are your scapegoat for your own crime. the present war, as described in the OP and first few posts, is literally for the purpose of evading having to nationalize the failing US oil industry. there's no way for you to gaslight your responsibility for your crime. your crime is the direct result of capitalism, which you exist to protect with identity politics and jewish scapegoats as fascists.
>>
i wonder if the proper way for iran to handle this, indeed, is to just counterintuitively open the strait.
>>
Iran does not have a legitimate government they are an authoritarian dictatorship. The IRGC is a criminal enterprise that engages in terrorism.

what empty buttmad kvetching.
>>
>>539337927
Theocracy and military dictatorship are unironically the least illigitimate forms of government. Everything else is bankers stacking lies on lies while they rape your kids and tell you it's fine. When the khan rapes your kids you'll fucking know it.

Meanwhile, post above his from you

> Just because you people are capitalists, and won't acknowledge when your private oil sector, which is based upon just pure corruption, failed.

You’re just whining and bitching because you don’t like capitalism. I’m willing to bet you strongly hate men and White people too. Fuck off

Crazy part is, fracking is already a "tier 2" technology for getting hard to reach, poor quality shale oil. We're running out of our plan B.

Iran is playing the long game.
We're actually broke financially, and our oil reserves are quickly being depleted.
They only have to continue this same course for a few more months at the most.
