Daily reminder that our utilities are unprotected and a $300 chainsaw can cause a lot of problems. There are utility lines that run through the wilderness and would be incredibly easy to sabotage causing massive headaches and serious money to fix. The roadside power lines would be even easier to destroy. Wearing hi visibility clothing during the act and a hard hat would cause enough pause for people to not immediately call the cops on you and they would be easy to remove. A motorized bicycle or even an electric bike would give you the speed and mobility to leave the area with relative ease and with a low cost.

In short, if they are going to push you out, you might as well push back.

Oh so exactly how it has been since forever. And btw, they offer you big bucks to move. The people who draw a hardline always lose. Take the money and quit being a prick.
I'll say it again. Eminent domain is nothing new. The state has always retained this power. Like it's in the 5th amendment.

>>539338361
It's called eminent domain. This isn't new. This is a power the government always had. The founders literally wrote this into the Constitution so faggots couldn't use "but muh property rights!!!!" to impede the development of the nation.

>The people who draw a hardline always lose. Take the money and quit being a prick.

This. The people who try to resist don't understand that they will get the land one way or another. And those who resist will end up losing their land without being paid for it. What these faggots don't realize is the government and these corporations are trying to be nice by offering to buy your land. They are basically telling you this is already a done deal and they are trying to offer you a piece of it. Resist and refuse to sell and they stop being nice. They will label your property as condemned or find some other obscure zoning/building code law that will allow them to just kick you out and seize the property without having to pay you anything for it.

So yeah, like you said, just take the fucking money and find somewhere else to live. Once they've decided they want your house, they are going to take your house one way or another. Might as well get some money from it.

So eminent domain powers can be wielded by private business in the US now
Just like how we have complete freedom of speech in the US, as long as it's private companies doing the punishing for wrongthink lmfao

Cope, glownigger. Theres NOTHING you can to keep a few dudes with dewalt angle grinders from cutting the frame on transmission line towers in rural areas. Litterally fuckall.
Your kike leaders will loose this if people choose to mobilize. Its a big IF but lets face it, your greentext isnt enough to deter anybody.

>>
>>539341698
You're right, because I'm not the one seizing your land. When they do come to seize your land though, you truly will be the one who "won't do shit."

Or maybe you will. At which point you just get gunned down by a SWAT team and your land gets taken anyway. Either way, if the government wants your land, they are going to take it. There's literally nothing you can do to stop it.

>And btw, they offer you big bucks to move.

No they don't.
They will pay "just compensation" which courts typically define as the property's fair market value.
>>
>>539338361
Show me the power plants that they are building to power all these data centers.
>>
>>539342352
Eh, depends on how badly and how quickly they need the land. If they are desperate enough, they'll offer a pretty decent amount above fair market value to entice you to accept immediately.
>>
>>539340383
this is what boomers actually believe
>>
>>539340383

The property owner is REQUIRED to get "just compensation".
It is actually part of the US Constitution.
It appears in the Fifth Amendment as part of the Takings Clause, which states:

"...nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."
>>
>>539342733
There are loopholes and ways around that though. I've literally seen it happen in my home town. Back when malls were still viable businesses, they wanted to build one in a kinda poor neighborhood. The residents who lived there mostly refused to sell. So the local government over the course of the next year or so, started finding ways to label all the properties they needed as "condemned" because there was a loophole in local laws that allowed condemned property to be seized without compensation.
>>
>>539339567
Yes but the public purpose requirement is what has changed. I guess AI data centers are part of that now.
