When I look around I'm not sure I see the impact of human excellence anywhere in our society. What I mean by that is if someone is putting in serious focused intellect/effort into the day-to-day running of whatever it is they do, I don't see it. Not in any of our systems of education/healthcare/law/governance, not typically in business or commerce, they do as shit of a job or produce the worst product possible for whichever profit margin they can legally escape with. Among the intelligentsia you'll be met with cries of "get an education" in utter denial of admitted strategies like "long march through the institutions" which one need only look around to clearly observe the output. The people who pursue and especially the ones who achieve any kind of identifiable success within our fucked up retarded society appear to me to be dumb as shit and intentionally doing a bad job.Except athletes.
