I ask because multiple youtube channels effortlessly catch child predators with less resources than cops have. If they need more cops, why don't they just advertise like the military?
>>

Because YouTubers do it for free/ad revenue
>>

Police and military are welfare programs for shitskins.

we need more community policing
>>
>>539357029
So without the youtubers they just let them run amok with 0 urgency for more investigators?
>>
>>539357096
No, they just triage things. They cant deal with the number of reports made to NMEC, but they will tey and prioritise people in immediate danger
>>
>>539356971
It needs no niggers and kikes

Q: Why don't cops advertise for more recruits?
A: Because youtubers do it for free.

Seems like a pretty retarded plan.
>>
>>539357603
Because diddlers arent a priority and more police cost more money.
Thats as simple as it gets
>>
>>539357699
I guarantee you if you polled Americans they would tell you that they dont give a fuck about cops pulling people over for weed and to prioritize diddlers.
>>
>>539356971
No. They need smarter cops.
>>
>>539356971
We don't need more cops, and we don't need AI surveillance cameras everywhere. All we need is to not let repeat offender criminals back out on the street.

The solution to both law enforcement and the military isn't "more", its "better". Throwing extra money at these institutions won't fix the problems they have or produce better results, because their overall lack of accountability has let their worst practices go unpunished so they have no real reason to do their jobs well if they get paid either way. The pentagon has never passed an audit, the military industrial complex is held hostage by monopolies that maximize the amount of money they can squeeze out of the taxpayer, and the police will rally around all but the absolute worst of their members to protect them from punishment even when they do indefensible shit on camera.

We don't need more cops, we don't need to defund the police, we need to sit down and have a serious discussion about HOW we police, what our goals are, and whether what we are doing actually works and what we can do instead.

Kind of like how the actual solution to border control isn't a stupid wall, its regular patrols by high flying drones with IR cameras that can spot groups of people miles away even in the dead of night and then dispatching agents to intercept them. A wall does nothing that can't be solved with a ladder or a couple power tools and you spent a shitton of money on it, the drones are cheaper and more effective. Work smarter, not harder.

This.
My small city is running itself into debt becuase we have to pay out a shit ton in police pensions becuase every jock who went to uni went eith comns or crim justice and their daddy had to give them a job.
The police have this city by the balls to becuase if the city doesnt cave to the police force demands they city ends up with mass robberies and shit.

Cops could easily catch child predators but then they would fundamentally be overstepping civil liberties. You'll usher in a nanny-state to protect the children only to then be in a fight for your lives when someone gets in power who decides. "Let's kill everyone who doesn't think like me."

Its amazing when interacting with police.
most of them are hamstringed by liability issues and not being put in the line of fire. Its become just another arm of the great bureaucracy.
