I'm not sure if getting rid of Syrsky is a good thing for Ukraine. Sure he did some retarded things and got thousands of men killed for nothing, but a lot of those decisions probably came directly from the top and he was effective overall given his resources.The ugly reality is that the only resource Ukraine has to defeat endless meatwaves is meatwaves of their own, and Syrsky for all his bad points doesn't hesitate to throw men into the meatgrinder, usually for good reasons, sometimes for bad. The new guy is probably going to have to try and differentiate himself by leaning more on drones and sparing the manpower but that is likely just going to lead to increased Russian gains in the short-term.
