Why do you need oil reserves when you're the world's largest producer of oil? And using your profits to promote Green politics across the world too only further cements your advantage. By knocking all other major producers out of the game and selling your oil for lots you force other countries, like China, who have massive reserves to deplete their stock and force them to buy from you as a safeguard.
