Native Americans never progressed past the stone age.

Memory and south Americans forged bronze tools, but they didn't generally use them. North Americans traded with South Americans, that's how they propagated teosete/corn, potatoes, and tomatoes.

There is Tin in new egland/Alaska/SouthWest/Bolivia/Andes/Mexico&US, there is Copper all over both continents, they mined for metals on both continents, they have arsenic in insane quantities and all less than the 2500+ miles/4000 Km Europeans had to travel to get surface tin from Britan... So if all cultures are equal and valid why did the most advanced Native American civilization only achieve a Neolithic level of technology? (Stone /unforged copper/rare bronze or meteoric hand tools)

>Native Americans never progressed past the stone age.
All tribalised societies stagnate -- mainly, because they do not remain ensconced long enough for thinkers to emerge; additionally, because they can soon become extinct at the hands of rival tribes. Functional societies must be established for their thinkers to manifest, as well as for the cogitation of those thinkers to become parleyed into something beyond fantasy and philosophy.

They did have some civilizational unlocks that we typically think of as coming in after the stone age, though. They had sprawling empires, trade networks, centralized currencies, complex hierarchical societies, and large infrastructure projects. Honestly it's pretty impressive that they got so far with what little advancements in tech/writing that they had.
>>
>>539436718
>Stone age
Doesn't really capture the whole picture. There was advanced goldworking in Mesoamerica and the Andes and early copperworking in both areas as you mentioned. Techological innovation is a result of environment and need. There is no need for a bunch of North American Salish maize farmers to expend a bunch of energy and resources figuring out how to harness bronze when stone tools is enough to work the earth and hunt whales. They also didn't have beasts of burden which probably is a factor I'm too smallbrained to consider

probably they gave up on the idea of "big cities" when Cahokia failed.
"Cahokia: Located near modern-day St. Louis, Illinois, this Mississippian culture city reached a peak population of 10,000 to 20,000 residents around 1100–1200 AD, making it larger than many European cities of that era"
Didn't have any metals either, though.
Could be that a large amount of meat running around to be hunted and the lack of grain and agricultural skills worked together against real nationbuilding. Tribals usually don't manage to invent advanced technics

I could have asked the same of whites 2500 years ago. Greece, which was the last to achieve civilization, only got it due to its proximity to the Middle East.

Most whites lived in caves at that point. Greece stole everything it knew from the Egyptians and the Persians.

You aren't all that impressive yourself, bucko.
>>
>>539437195
It's more like a settlement and agriculture thing, claiming and defending a static territory, producing and entrenching a deeper social hierarchy and complex culture, food surplus and storing this, giving the elite some free-time and leading to a rise in manufacturing, labor specialisation and trades, as well as long-distance trade, expansionism, immigration with the consequent adoption of foreign technologies, know-how, domesticated animals and ultimately complex writing.
Essentially: for a society to produce experts in diverse fields it must have a secure, robust, enduring framework that encourages specialisation, proliferation and survival instead of everybody being a generalist hunter-gatherer-warrior and the population fluctuating widely, producing no real growth.

Its because they were set back in time due to being isolated from the agricultural revolution. Bronze age requires civilization, civilization requires agricultural surplus, and agricultural surplus requires thousands of years of development from the agricultural revolution. Injuns migrated to the Americas prior to the agricultural revolution and had to develop it on their own. The fact that they succeeded in doing so means it was only a matter of time until they reached the bronze age, and even the iron age. America was essentially just 2 or 3 thousand years behind Eurasia, but it was on the same overall trajectory.

This by the way makes it markedly different from Africa and Australia, neither of which invented anything despite having foreign technology transfer available to them.

The oldest avocado found so far is from Huaca Prieta, while cacao cultivation began in the westernmost part of the Amazon, somewhere between eastern Ecuador and eastern Peru, where wild varieties have their greatest diversity. Throught commerce it quickly expanded to coastal Ecuador (but not really to the rest of Peru), seemingly it was a popular trade item across Ecuador, and from there it hopped northwards to Mesoamerica, where people invented a new way of consuming it, chocolate, a method that never expanded southward back to its place of origin

Well they weren't subhuman per se because they could learn English. IMHO you could only rescue Native Americans by encouraging even one tribe to make a big ship and fill it with food and just go on a suicide mission (for them) across The Atlantic. They could see how behind they are and spread smallpox on the way back hopefully so they have 500 more years to tank it. Mohicans and Algonquin could work super well with both French and British, its arguable they wouldn't be as genocided if it was just them.

NA's its like what if you had native pussy on tap, the best hunting grounds on Earth and cold winters that basically require you to be nomadic, great fishing, lakes, its a giant adult playground and then you have the PvP minigame and its quite an adrenaline rush. i'm sure there are a million reasons why, but it still blows my mind that certain peoples still didn't figure out the wheel and the general idea that round things can roll, meanwhile the rest of the world is so far beyond basic things like the wheel and metalworking that they finally got bored and wanted to check out what was on the other side of that giant ass lake to their west just for the hell of it.

It's exceedingly obvious to the point that even Thomas Jefferson was on record about it, the original natives were mixed with colonizing Turks from central Asia and Scythians. China had colonized some of the western coasts along with Malay/Java further in the deserts.

It's not that they didn't have technology relative to the era, it's that they were reduced to scattered remnants when Europe arrived, probably from both wars internal and conquest from Spain.

Cahokia looked like an emerging Mesoamerican city. Only the mounds are left but I believe some trade goods from Mexico have been found there. There was evidence of human sacrifice and the walls being burned.

I was at a museum today. All museums in Canada are absolutely cucked to natives and spend inordinate amounts of time and money paying white grad students to build up tribute exhibits to how wonderful it was that these people lived on glorified camping adventures for millennia.

Today’s contrast for you was a birchbark canoe- lovely in its own way- but of course there’s all this text around it about how the people lived as one with nature and saw it as something that was a part of themselves and not distinct and blah blah blah

And then you walk ten feet over and there is this fantastic late 1800s wooden boat and it’s just gorgeous and I want to know how that didn’t require “being own with nature” as my ancestors spent thousands of years perfecting wood bending and varnish and hydrodynamics and understanding wind and wave and weather in every way you possibly can. Any time something good is said about my people, it is never said in the form of “White people did X”, it’s always just some atomized individual who did a thing. And then if you complain about that well, here it is, your privilege, everything is just assumed to be white culture right???

Sick of it. I want one exhibit that talks about the amazing things we did without falling back on telling me I’m on “unceded” land that a bunch of alcoholic casino owners should really have instead

It’s the population density, climate, and continuous war that shaped the euros into what they are. With a ton more room and a harsher climate there would not have been enough people for anything beyond subsistence living to evolve.

I feel like if we had waited another 1000 years to show up in the west we would still have encountered exactly the same kind of peoples as we did: there was never going to be any pressure to advance further because they could not get enough excess calories to increase the birth rate to the point where they had excess labour to push for progress. When every man save the chief has to be working class you cannot develop aristocracy which seems to be a pre-requisite for science, which is fueled by largess.

Diseases and shitty weather patterns/droughts they weren't prepared for, which was often times what European explorers heard about their histories from locals. Compare the descriptions of the Indians that Scandinavians ran into in modern day Canada around 1000s that partially halted their expansion into the Americas, with the dense populations observed along the eastern seaboard by Giovanni da Verrazzano in the 1520s, and compare those with the sparse populations the English observed when they landed about a century later in the 1600s. Also, warfare and genocides, the reason political entities like the Iroquois Confederacy, and other tribal confederacies existed, long before Europeans even set foot in the Americas during the Age of Exploration. There's also the mystery of Roman coins being found in the Americas and Indian shit being found in Rome, and writings by Romans about strange people from across the sea who supposedly docked for repairs, that kicked off a theory that at least one of them became somewhat seafaring way, way back.

so your reasoning is they did actually have competent wheels, but there's magically no evidence of it? Despite the fact that everywhere else in the world has had evidence of wheel usage going back thousands and thousands of years, regardless of whatever supposed climate it was in?

Disregarding the transportation question, wheels were used long before that for milling and agricultural shit. Surely the great stoneworkers of the americas could have figured that one out instead of manually mashing their maize with rocks?

Europeans set out on the sea to find another route to Asia, because the Ottoman Empire cut off every land and sea route. Literally, the only route of the silk road they didn't have control over was a shitty tertiary route through northern Russia. You couldn't even sail around Africa, into the Indian Ocean, because the Ottoman navy would wreck your shit. What plains are there in the Andes mountain range golem-kun?
>they did actually have competent wheels, but there's magically no evidence of it
No anon my reasoning is that :
1. We know they knew how to make wheels from the toys
2. We know that wheel usage in settled societies at scale is largely predicated on pack animals, something that Mesoamericans didn't have and that the Incans did. The Incans lived in the Andes MOUNTAIN RANGE.
3. That the absence of evidence for something is evidence of absence for something (does that ring a bell?), so the argument that we haven't found traces of wheels isn't proof in and of itself that they didn't know of them or how to use them
4. You can't read, are probably obese, and need to stop typing and eating goyslop and go die for Israel

You got shown wheels that turn.
So yes, they existed. Send a letter to the experts and ask them why they claim there were no wheels when there are in fact examples of it.

The answer is very simple:
Their myths taught them to avoid dragons. It's the exact same reason why the overwhelming majority of Negroid cultures were so slow to develop.

The cultures that have advanced throughout time all have myths that feature a hero killing a dragon. This is because that culture has decided that the most appropriate action to take against the most dangerous thing in their environment is to destroy (and therefore master) it.

And to clarify, by "through northern Russia", it ran only on the European side, stopping at the Ural Mountains (so not connected to Asia), and far away from the primary silk road routes that people had been using for centuries by then; it was the equivalent of somehow relying solely on a single, small, out-of-the-way town's two-lane farm road to support the entirety of global trade from Spain, to China.

No natural pressures to innovate, invent, or think. The entire NA native population was in the hundreds of thousands, and foodstuffs such as Buffalo and other game were so plentiful there was no need to change. On the macro scale it was a culture stuck in time. Constant warfare & illness also kept the populations on the low side.

In most other areas of the world the hunter gatherer lifestyle came to an end due population expansion and dwindling of plentiful easily-obtainable animals to consume. The solution to this was to discover farming so entire populations no longer needed to uproot and move with the food supply. You could stay in one spot and build a village, town, city etc.

Natives got lucky when the Russo-America land bridge went underwater again and cut off the rest of humanity. With so little people across such a vast land, the mass herd animals could easily reproduce faster than they were hunted. The natives never had to evolve.

It was a whole different story in central/south America where you didn't have plentiful animal foodstuffs roaming around, which is why Aztecs/Incas had cities when the Spanish arrived though they were still at a lower level having discovered agriculture and such at a much later time than Asia/Europe.

Because they are lower IQ, never wanted to achieve anything greater than themselves, and they were constantly fueding with each other over trivial matters. How are you supposed to build something big and great if your tribe gets sacked, raped, and killed by a rival tribe who's only priority is rape your women and take your resources to be used to destory another tribe. The only way for them to build into something greater is to cooperate with one another but this was something they never did and the very idea of cooperation with rival tribes was offensive to them.

>>539437011
This, if the American Indians truly lived as one with nature they wouldn't have been nomadic tribes yet all of them were. They would travel around use up all available resources/food and then move on to the next area destorying what tribe was in the area in the process. If they truly lived as one with nature then they would have settled in one area yet they didn't. The whole message of pushing Indians as nature lovers is such a lie it's ridiculous and there is a reason they were designated as "red skinned savages".

China was always the world hegemon because they had the population. But their scientific advancements were very poor per capita. White man only came to run the world about 500 years ago when they finally threw off the Muslim yoke. Remember the pace of technological advancement these past 500 years has been rapidly advanced because the white man was left alone. China had longer periods of domination and peace and never invented a sliver of what the white man did. Some did, if you consider some of the north eastern tribes with long houses and agriculture, and tribal confederacies amongst other tribes they shared a language/similar language with (before Europeans arrived), or the cliff house structures carved into the side of mountains by Pueblo Indians out west. The problem on all sides are people saying they were all retard savages who were at the same levels of advancement or all peaceful good bois who dindu nuffin, when even the ones just across current day U.S. alone were vastly different from each other. This leads to people feeling sorry for tribes like the Comanche, who were vicious cunts that were building their own empire and colonies into Mexico that were capable of terrorizing and raiding the Spanish and later Mexican governments, or people thinking the all of the north eastern tribed were just the same as them, when they were primarily chill and just traded shit (partially why the French considered them civilized, due to their organizations in a government capable of supporting a confederacy, and in having maintained trade networks across the continent).

in Siberia thousands of years ago the ancestors of native Americans and aryans were the same race, the dumber ones, the lower caste ones, the more asiadic ones, the ones who couldn't ride horses, etc etc etc got pushed further east and eventually crossed a land bridge while following prey
they had already been selectively bred by aryan culture to be the dumbest of the dumb over generations this compounded until they where incapable of living in anything resembling modern society

Norte Chico and Valdivia civilizations date back to the same time as the Messipetamian timeframe. ~4000-3000 BC.

Messipetamia is belived to be the first old world civilization, and they were firmly bronze-age. American civilization never progressed past cold-worked copper a firmly Neolithic trait.

every major ciivilization was either coastal or aongside a major river. Native Americans weree isolated, while the other civilizations had access to different specializations, eventually coalescing into shared knowledge.

The Egyptians, the Sumerians, the Chinese, the Greeks, the Romans, they were all connectred one way or another.

It's interesting as a student of multiple languages, and someone who used to process passport applications, so I've got a storied history of being able to determine Americanized ethnic names, but when you drive through a native-tribe-owned area expect to say "what the fuck is that?" multiple times. There are very strange syllabaries.

the jews would do that to incite their waheslave jew worshippers to spread jewish influence and further enslave more people.
el dorado and prestor john, to name a few.
christcucks have an especially hard time adapting to past events because the jew worship constantly factory resets them to npc settings, so jews just use the same playbook over and over and over. reading christcuck history becomes incredibly frustrating. because you have to wonder how the fuck they kept falling for it. its because theyre soulless npcs. people who have been enticed to gamble their eternal souls because their environment demanded it of them.

Cold copper-working is NeoLithic, Megalithic Cities are also Neolithic, as is trading in shell/precious stone currencies. You have to have set denominations for it to be Bronze-age technology... Native americams used trinkets & Wampum(shells) & agricultural goods. The question is, why didn't they achieve bronze-age development or higher precolumbian? None of the stated examples are post Neolithic.

sorry didnt even read your comment. it was actually just good old fashioned jewish biological warfare. the people in the old world had to live alongside jews who ate feces, not to mention the pajeets and niggers who fucked monkeys. the biological warfare over the old world happened for thousands of years, the bible even describes instances of sargon II's army encountering jews and just up and dropping dead, likely from all the uniquely jewish diseases they had. most people dont know this but palestine was the region's dumping grounds for diseased peoples, lepers and the like. so the people who survived the old world were only the most biologically resilient people, immune systems in the S-tier

whereas the people in the new world didnt have people swimming in rivers of feces or fucking monkeys, so like with Sargon II, when jews encountered some completely trivialized common cold, which is really just an insane supervirus to normal people in normal circumstances but a triviality to the jewish side of the world, completely wiped them out. on top of that you had christcucks with smallpox blankets and other intentional forms of biological warfare. these are the same people whose granny would die of plague that jews gave them, and then go to the next town over and catapult her body over the walls.

jews got this one fungus which leaps from humans to the environment and would negrofy your hair and turn it white like jesus' in revelation. got so bad they had to condemn entire buildings and just destroy the whole building and rebuild it from scratch

(1) They only had maize varieties as far as domesticated crops go. Meanwhile, we had a bunch of different kinds of grains. Perhaps if they got their hands on the potato.
(2) They only had horse when it comes to domesticated animals. We had so much more and since we had animals turn useless grass into milk and meat, we had that extra buffer when there were poor harvests.
(3) Ergo, while they did produce maize-based empires, they did not survive cold weather shifts and died. Thus, they did not have lasting non-nomadic countries that could really start to tinker with metals.

>South American gold work is notoriously crude.
Here are some examples from the Moche.
Many Moche copper artifacts originally had an extremely thin layer of gold, often just 1-2 micrometers thick, applied using electrochemical replacement plating. Only a few South American cultures from Peru are known to have used this technique. Hell, even in the Old World, only a handful of cultures have disputed artifacts that may have been made using the same method.

>south Americans forged bronze tools
No they didn't. The only thing they had was organization due to the systematic cannibalism they engaged in. They did it at the top of dirt mounds. The stones weren't added on the outside of the mounds until after Spanish arrival. Look up the date of Spanish arrival and the date range the Central American pyramids were said to be made. WHOOPS.

They had no metal tools, and could not carve stone. They sliced each other open with sharpened obsidian glass, and ate each other, because they were too dumb to figure out animal domestication.
>>
The largest drawback was they never really progressed past tribalism and a hunter gatherer society. Agriculture allows for a population to expand and leads to specialized labour. This in turn will require a more complex form of government to manage an expanding population and a way or organizing labour.
>>
>>539436718

This is what it always really comes down to. People just don't like to hear the truth about the subject, it's "tacky" to discuss it.

why does everyone say that wheels are useless without muh roads? there's tons of stuff you can do with wheels that don't involve rolling around on them. if you put a rope around a wheel it becomes a pulley. if you put teeth on one it becomes a gear. if you add a handle it becomes a crank. there are tons of useful tools like cranes and water pumps that all have wheels in them.

Arsenic impurities in copper occur naturally. At first, that was probably how they accidentally obtained arsenical copper over here (more precisely arsenical bronze), among ancient cultures such as the Moche >>539452596 and other northern Peruvian societies, extending beyond Peru to the north, that shared the North Andean metallurgical tradition. That metallurgical tradition included arsenical bronze, tumbaga, and many other innovations, and later spread from the North Andes to Mesoamerica.

However, by the Late Intermediate Period, the Moche's descendants, such as the Sican, were definitely INTENTIONALLY adding arsenic to produce arsenical bronze. Archaeological evidence shows they deliberately added arsenic-bearing minerals during smelting.

>Native Americans never progressed past the stone age.
Well, to advance passed the stone-age, you first need civilization. Civilization requires agriculture. Agriculture requires a suitable crop. Since early agriculture had much lower yields than modern agriculture(look up what corn originally looked like), it was only viable in warm highly fertile areas with reliable water sources.

To advance to the Bronze Age you need a relatively local source of Copper and Tin, and/or the means to trade long distances, especially navigable rivers, calm seas, and other waterways. The Mediterranean had all of the necessary ingredients. The Aztecs and Mayans only had some of the necessary ingredients. North American Natives basically had none of the necessary ingredients.

The Mediterranean Sea was pretty much ideal for the development of civilization as we know it.

The main criticism of Native-Americans is that they killed all their horses. That effectively slowed their development by thousands of years.

Then, roughly from the beginning of the southern half of Peru southward, another major tradition emerged: the South Andean metallurgical tradition. They weren't fans of northern developments like tumbaga, which spread much farther north from its point of origin than it ever did to the south.

However, this southern tradition, the one the Incas inherited before building their empire, was heavily focused on tin-copper alloys, developing true tin bronze.

They also developed more advanced furnaces. In fact, Andean reverberatory furnaces are believed to be the earliest in the world, this technology would have spread from the Andes to the Old World during the colonial period.

basically native americans are lazy. I don't even mean this in a negative way, its just a racial and cultural thing about them. They like to relax and take it easy for the most part. They are also very prone to addiction for this reason
>>
>>539451158
>Are you saying the Americas don't have coasts? Or are you saying the Mississippi, Potomac, Deleware, saint Laurance, Colorado, and Amazon aren't rivers?
The southern coast is mostly swamp. Look at the Nile River delta and compare it to the Mississippi. Flooding is also a major problem on the Mississippi.

The United States has some of the best waterways and coastline in the world, but there isn't anywhere in the United States that had the necessary conditions for civilization to begin in the first place. Moreover, copper mines are too far from the coast, and we have basically no tin, plus no horses.

Regardless, civilization took thousands of years to develop even in those areas with ideal conditions. IQ had nothing to do with it. If you look at Europe, the areas with the highest IQ were generally the last to have civilization.

White civs had optimal conditions of limited landmass, climate, natural resources and vegetation to evolve via tech, especially metalurgy. Mining, smelters, forges etc. are all basics to produce stuff like cogwheels or a clean fully leveled base plate (which is foundational for constructing machinery). Brownoid civs likely didnt do all the metalurgy & metal stuff like white one‘s did.

>Too busy fueding with each other
This. Progress in relity needs more cooperation, than competition.
The Chinese founding myth says that they started as alone villages but some smart ones went from one to another and asked them for help to dig water canal so they will all eat together. And they agreed.
The whole empires conquering other tribes was also kind of cooperation under one ruler. The conquered tribes agreed to coperate under someone stronger due to fear of life.
But when you have conquest where conquered people do not want to cooperate - you will have zero progress as in North America or in Judea where Jews were constantly rebelling or in Africa or muslim countries or under jeets where every single religious sect fought another even after being conquered.

>systematic cannibalism
I mean, many South American societies practiced cannibalism. Even in the very ancient Central Andes, this culture was the last one to do so >>539453864. They are called the Chavin, once believed to be the first civilization in South America (Caral took that spot). Even among the Chavin however, the evidence consists of some gnawed human bones found at Chavin de Huantar, so it seems to have been limited to certain religious events.

There's no such evidence for the cultures that followed the Chavin, so over here it would have ended around that period, except in the Amazon.

But then, a few thousand years later, and then some, the Inca Empire was banning cannibalism among its Amazonian and peripheral subjects.
>>
>>539445988
They've also been turned out by every male relative in their family.
>>
>>539455532
Btw, barbarians were called names such as runa micoq or "man-eaters"

Quite crazy that at its maximum extent the borders of the Inca Empire were surrounded by cannibals on every side. However, the Inca Empire probably encompassed much of South America's population at the time, if not most of it, so most South Americans wouldn't have engaged in cannibalism.
>>

Even in Europe Stone Age civilizations had rudimentary knowledge of metallurgy before the Bronze Age began. It's not like one day every person woke up knowing how to cast bronze and threw away stone tools, you know.

Native Americans were slowly learning mettalurgy, too. Though they did have some very impressive irrigation systems and were already studying astronomy.

Given a few more thousand years they would've likely arrived to a similar position the Eurasians were in.

What's even more interesting is that ONLY EURASIAN PEOPLES EVER DEVELOPED POST-STONE AGE TECHNOLOGY.

Think about that. Anyone outside of Eurasia had to contact Eurasian civilization to get post-stone age tech. Even more specifically, south and southeast asian cultures also never developed post-stone age tech on their own.
