I have like a cast Iron grilling plate+ powerful ventilation hood, then I throw all sorts of meats on that grill and make french fries and it tastes better than McDs+ way cheaper.
Food is done in 20min or so.

Ground beef takes more than 2 minutes to cook

Maybe if you fried it

>Boil water
>Salt it until it's like the ocean
>Put dried pasta or fresh into a serving bowl to decide now much to make
>Boil until desired tenderness where it's not mush or chewy
>Add a small amount of the water to the cooking meat and sauce
>Strain and combine w/meat and sauce in the meat pan
>Eat your wopslop
Fixed that for you

From all accounts, American food is absolutely terrible, flavourless eggs, expensive and nasty meats, sugar in the brrad, so even your shit house unskilled meal seems relatively nice

This is a better recipe for welfare pasta.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lV_GvYejYzY
Here that costs
>$5 for sausages
>$2 for pasta
>$4 -5 for fresh cherry tomatoes or $2 for canned
>$1 something for the onion
>$4 for non-chink fresh garlic but makes many meals
>$$$$$ stupid amount for the Italian cheese though some deli here of polacks or wops sell small chunks for $5

Total cost lower bound is $19 and upper bound of all fresh $21 for a single meal where all you have leftover is garlic and small cheese this shit was like $10 a few years ago. Not any cheaper with like anchovies or sardines here either those went up in price too fuuuuuuuck

Grab pot.
Put small ammount of oil and salt.
Add water, don't fill. Just like 7/10
Heat untilk you see bubbles.
Put some spaghetti inside, without burning.
Heat more, like 11 min.
Pour the spaghetti in a wringer.
Put the empty pot ready to heat again, but the vitro should not be on.
Pour in smol slices of bacon.
Pour in 200 ml cooking milk cream OR tomacco sauce.
Add some basil and similar pastalike shit.
Pour in the pasta.
Mix the whole thang.
Cook a bit so the milk cream evapes a lot.
Turn iff heat, add sliced four cheeses.
Mix with heat off.
Serve yourself.
Eat.

It's not top shelf, but it's cheap and fills the stomach.

Advanced, requires this type of platter, you cook inside the platter, and eat on it.

Ad a dash bit of oil, youre gonna cook a pair of eggs after all.
Add sliced bacon, chorizo, and salami, prosciutto/jamón if available (pricing can be an issue. Now grab 2 slices or 3 of cheddar, add, go insane with the four sliced cheese (i think this is the cheapest stuff in the dish at 2.30€ per bag). Crack snd add the eggs, salt a bit the eggs, cook. Let it cool a dash, eat.

Man, I struggle with in-laws trying to nudge them towards better food. There is good food in America, but cards gravitate towards horrible crap.
Real chocolate? No, they frown and go for herders. Ripe vegetables? No! green picked and sprayed with color changing chemicals is better!
Mushrooms? No, MSG is what they crave.
Real bread? Too hard! Give us foam!

I used to do this but the ground beef prices got fucked. So around new years I invested in a dinky little propane grill and it improved my eating habits allot. I can basically take any cheap ass cut of meat and make it delicious with some smoked wood chips and some homemade salsa verde.
My main meals these days consist of either uncut chicken breast or drumsticks, season them up and throw em on the grill with a smoke box. Then I take whatever veggies I have and some potatoes and cover them in olive oil and lime juice and toss em on the grill. Pizza is also very easy to make when I want to switch things up.

Here's a meal any poltard could make, takes only 30 minutes, but only 5 min. of actual effort. Most of the ingredients are shelf stable, so you can have it on standby in case you are too lazy to cook something else. Lentils are high in protein and fiber, so this is a complete meal. Also, this is just the basic ass version. You can add whatever spices, etc you want.

Directions (feeds 1 person):
1. Add 1/4 cup red lentils to a small pot, and then rinse and drain them.
2. Cover lentils with water and add a chicken stock cube (can use bouillon or actual stock instead)
3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer covered for about 20 minutes.
4. Mix and break apart the lentils with a fork, and add hot water until soup is desired thickness.
5. Add heavy cream to taste. (can use sour cream, butter, milk, or some other fat instead)
Serve with bread or toast.
