Stay away from Irmo, SC. The council (minus Penfield) just pushed through 22 more Flock cameras in spite of public opposition (and without funding--they said they expect a state grant to fund it). This guy (mayor Bill Danielson) actually interrupted a news interview with Penfield after the meeting and then insulted members of the public who objected to his actions. Just stay away from here, and if you must come down, move into one of the surrounding areas. The chief of police even says he needs these cameras to monitor all entrances into and out of town.

It's not so bad weather-wise unless like like having winters. I've gone ten years without actual snow at a time.

Also, look at this guy who wants to examine our towns "nooks and crannies" in his own words.

Stay away from SC in general

22 new flock cams. Surely there are 22 people in Irmo that would be willing to NOT disable those flock cams. Also, do NOT put clear vinyl digital noise decals over your license plates.

It could definitely be better, but it could definitely be much worse

The funny thing is, they don't even have the money. They said they're assuming they're getting a grant from the state.

Anyone who isn't a mutant is being productive members of society, while spiteful subhumans join our councils. A lot of these people on the councils aren't even from here, and they have nothing but contempt for us for not being like whatever they ran away from.

Flock has several Jewish sales models that allow them to install warrantless surveillance cams on public infrastructure without the municipality having to purchase the equipment. Flock will install and maintain them free of charge if the police department buys a subscription to the "safety grid". This allows municipal governments and police departments to circumvent letting citizens decide and in many cases FOIA and open information laws.

I also think Flock sales reps are not being forthcoming to police chiefs and municipal officials about the true capabilities of these cameras. They're selling these as snapshot ALPRs when they're actually real time HD video and audio recording, capable of also tracking pedestrians, facial recognition, wifi and Bluetooth MAC address scanning, RFID scanning, all information stored by Flock, run through a proprietary AI algo that builds a mosaic surveillance file and hotspot route maps on each individual person and vehicle, makes connects between citizens and their habbits, on low confidence levels, and real-time alerts law enforcement when the algorithm determines suspicion connections or travel habits, regardless if the individual is suspected of committing or has committed a crime or not. This weekend I am going to test the system in my city to see what it takes to trigger suspicious driving patterns.

Good luck. Judging by how many police departments keep stalking potential romantic partners with these, I think they know very well what they're capable of.

There are several downloadable patterns available online through a simple web search, you just need to print the patternon clear vinyl decal sheets and install yourself. Obviously for testing and research purposes only. A musician named Ben Jordan who famously discovered a way to protect copywrited music from AI by adding digital noise to audio tracks also tested, quite successfully, the same idea using visual digital noise vinyl decals on license plates. I don't know much about him but you can search for his videos on YouTube where he tests the capabilities and vulnerabilities of flock cams, he seems pretty redpilled.

The visual digital noise that confuses the flock cam is essentially a pattern of different sized microscopic and tiny dots. The plate still remains visible and readable while the dot pattern is nearly undetectable to the naked eye. I imagine you could achieve similar results buy making a sticky paste of brake dust, dirt or other grim a vehicle could pick up on the road, using a light adhesive binder and stipple or mist over your plates, for testing and research purposes only, since states are changing legislation making covering a plate WITH intent to deceive ALPR or digital surveillance devices is probably illegal.
