The band members were going apeshit about the fibbonacci sequencing of music, and making everything fit, and then Maynard got bored and decided to write about thinking laterally and unchained by structures and "overanalyzing". I guess that's the art of the song, because fibbonacci is the structure you can see in nature, even though it can be calculated, and the lyrics are about letting go of body and mind to embrace "whatever may come".
