Then follow the steps hear to create a boot drive and install SteamOS. I've been testing it out doing some benchmarking, literally everything works substantially better than Windows and I have not yet found a game in my library that doesn't work, in fact they all run substantially better as if I doubled all my hardware specs. I had fully wiped and reinstalled windows and it still ran abysmally slow due to all the bloated updates over the years. I threw Linux on it and this multiple year old basic consumer grade laptop ran better and snappier than it did when it was brand new. It blew me away and I've been at the very least dabbling in Linux ever since. I used to just use Linux for laptops and windows on the desktop, but I eventually switched over the desktop too as gaming became viable.I love Linux. It being the key to the shackles of Microsoft is an enormous blessing. Genuinely improved my life
