They use different tools in the way those tools are used, and with them they create art as art is created with those tools.And for me there is more to it than just a few seconds. I make a first prompt and wait for the AI to cook it. There's a lot of waiting. Once I get the result, I change the prompt to add things, remove things, change things, or whatever, and back and forth like that over many iterations. Then once I get the prompt right, I have to run the AI several times and choose which one I want.
