Its basic math.
1970 minimum wage $1.45/hr

26 hours to buy 1 oz puts minimum wage at $155.07/hr. Where is the stolen money going? Into Jews pockets.

The ratio of wages to housing to oil to copper has been relatively constant over the past 60 years.
What has changed in the SP500 and gold and silver prices have gone way up.
So the gold to minimum wage ratio is a useless stat.
In reality the cost of living is just about the same as its always been ... and this makes sense because the productive goods and services of society will be distributed mostly amongst the working class. The average family is tight with money, but that was true for every decade.

The stock market and gold has been in a speculative bubble for decades, but cost of living is relatively the same.

Jewish central bank was around since 1913 and printed money for gold that wasn't there. It's why breton-woods fell apart. France wanted gold for all the federal reserve notes they had but the kikes printed way more dollars than there was gold in existence.

Fractional reserve principle. The jews who own the Federal Reserve knew that they could print 10 times more money than there existed gold on the entire planet, and it would never come back to bite them.
>>
>>539494989
In 1965 minimum wage was something like 1.25, if you were paid in 90% silver quarters thats equivalent to roughly 50$ at current spot. Assuming an 8 hour workday thats roughly 400$ a day, assuming a 5 day workweek thats roughly 2000$ a week, assuming you work every week of the year, thats roughly 104000$ a year.
>>
>>539497506

>>539498776
It is true.
Check yourself the ratio between wage vs house vs rent vs oil vs SP500 vs gold.
The only thing that has hyperinflated in SP500 and gold.
Probably people have too much disposable income because a lot of people arent starting families.

>>539498878
Where you getting that data? One of those hyper-inflation websites?

My (official USA data) shows median income to median house prices rose from 3.0x to 5.0x since 1970. But you have to realize the average house in 1970 was a tiny post-WW2 shack, while the average house today is larger and built with very burdensome building code regulations. You are buying a different house today than in the past.

The economy is a treadmill. Standards of living remains mostly the same over decades, unless a technology like computers revolutionizes the free music and books market for example.

kys, no more (you)s
>>
>>539499221
Ok so what's the result?
>>
>>539499245
The fractional reserve principle is the principle which states a bank only has to have 1/10th of its clientele's money on hand, because generally speaking people only use 1/10th of the money they have in the bank on any given day. What this means in practice is that jews will take your money and use it for investments and other money games so that they can make money off of your money. This relates back to inflation and the gold standard, because the jews who own the money printers know they only need to have 1/10th of the amount of gold on the entire planet at any given time. They can simply keep printing currency even though there are more receipts for gold than there is actual gold. That's why inflation continued to rise even when the currency was gold backed. You dumb nigger kike gorilla golem.
>>
>>539497971
>People busted ass to live like shit then
They owned houses and had sex and families at much, much higher rates. Every time I talk to someone from that era, their concept of hard work is having a buddy punch their timecard while they go fishing, because the workload was always light enough to cover someone's absence. There are no jobs today where the workload can be covered while an employee's missing, let alone jobs where you're not being monitored at your station.
>>
>>539499409
>printing trillions of dollars means nothing goy!
Anon please just do it.
Compare the ratios of commodities and services and wages from 1970 to 2025. The cost of living is mostly a treadmill even though individual assets will go through boom and bust cycles.

The funniest thing about these gold shill threads it that it turns out gold is in a bubble rather than the cost of living.
>>
>>539494989
Minimum wage for non-farm workers in July 1971 was $1.60. According to Shadow Stat and Consumer Price Index that's equivalent to $100.42 in 2026.

If you worked full time, 40 hours per week, that would be equivalent to $4,016.80, $8,033.60 per paycheck, and $208,873.60 per year, but it's irrelevant because the answer is never more money it's making your money be worth more isn't deflation.
>>
>>539499559

>>
>>539499675

Cost of living is a treadmill.
>>
>>539499636
No one's falling for that lie, you moron. The price of gold isn't even relevant. Germany turned its economy around with fiat currency and called it labor backed currency. The ONLY thing that matters is keeping money printers out of the hands of kikes, and the ONLY reason why everything is insanely expensive these days is because money printers are currently in the hands of kikes.
>>
>>539499675

Interestingly though, the minimum wage was originally established at $0.25 in October 1938. That would be equivalent to $45.03 in 2026 which is $3,602.40 per paycheck which is $93,662.40 per year.

So it is cherry picking to start there because that's a rather arbitrary date.

>So literally the same problem as without the Gold Standard.

Right, jews. It's not nearly as important what kind of monetary system or government system you have as whether or not jews are allowed to be a part of it. Having a gold standard is all well and good but if you have jews anywhere near the levers of power it doesn't matter. No system no matter how well thought out it is to endure the centuries can't endure jews, unless that system explicitly bans jews.
>>
>>539500010

2026 6 packs of cigarettes costs over $100.

That's what shadow stat does and why it's more accurate and so wildly different than other estimates because they took out all of those things that actually matter.

Unfortunately shadow stat only covers 1969-2022 so you have to use Consumer Price Index or another alternative to cover dates before and after that which allows for some margin of error

The value of gold is no longer accurate. Our currencies aren't backed by the value of gold, so why would you use present dollars to place the value of gold? Don't you see why this is defeatist logic? An apt comparison is simply to compare the actual spending power of the currency at the time. Complaints vis a vis fiat currency are perfectly valid and should be discussed at length, but bringing it into a comparison of earnings individually is innacurate.

For thousands of years and ounce of gold would buy you the equivalent of a pretty decent pair of shoes and a suit (nice sandals and tunic, etc.).

>Why on Earth would you use gold and not actual goods that people consume?
The purest and most reliable currencies are those tied to a precious asset of some form. Gold is typically used because its quantity is known, and its rarity ensures innate value. What you are describing is more or less how fiat currency is today valued. If what you instead meant was can a currency be pegged to the total real output of a nation, then yes that is physically possible and would be an interesting idea on paper, but probably not so much in practice. While I could imagine some mutual fund-style methodology (NAV of this theoretical dollar = total economic output of the nation at close of day / total dollars in circulation), I can also guarantee it would be corrupted almost immediately.
