The best and simplest approach is to take what the ancients depicted themselves as in art as the point of reference. Look up Mycenaean art, look up ancient greek art. Not cherrypicked selective examples. Go search around yourself. You find that it was chiefly brown/black haired, some russets, very few but still some blondes. And there is absolutely no logical explanation for why a people of fair hair and skin who clearly identify as such over a Pelasgian underclass would then decide to exclusively depict themselves exactly like the locals.
