I say people in the Midwest and Texas should start speaking German again. Maryland should be full of Catholics. The South should use Antebellum architecture. Louisianans should speak French.

Pretty based. There are still some old farts that speak it around Fredericksburg. I know they still have German language newspapers. I wouldn't mind seeing German widely used out there.
