Why the fuck does it cost 100k to keep a prisoner in prison for a year?Literally they just sit in a room eating canned sardines and playing Fifa all day. How the fuck can that cost 100k per person?

it’s mostly guards and overtime. bring a corrections officer makes ok money. being a corrections officer working your job and a half 16 hour days makes tons of money
