Lake Powell is about to reach dead pool levels. Shortly after that Lake Mead will also reach dead pool. Effectively cutting off the water supply to millions of people. Entire cities will no longer be habitable. If we don’t make a pipeline from the Great Lakes to the American Southwest, this country will fail. California is the most important state in the union. We’re running out of time.

Tough luck, find water elswhere. Maybe mexico has some? Why's it our responsibility to water the mexicans?
>>
>>539510474
Because last time I checked the American Southwest is part of the US… we all have to come together for this
>>
>>539510388
Fuck off niggers. Build desalination plants or die.
>>
>>539510600
literally a scam for mexicans to steal the white mans water
>>
>>539510600
So Iran can bomb them?
>>
>>539510429
Keep your brown hands off my water.
>>
>>539510388
Oh no I guess they'll just have to go back to Mexico.
>>
Maybe they should stop building data centers and trying to grow massively water-intensive crops in the middle of a fucking desert.
>>
>>539510471
glad to see this still getting posted
always reminds me of why I hate the west coast and think the US should disown them
>>
>>539510720
You have more water than you know what to do with, also a large part of the population boom in the lake powell watershed came from the north eastern part of the US anyway. They're YOUR people that moved there and started sucking up all the water.
>>
>>539510701
No, we need to grow table grapes and lettuce in the middle of the desert, ok?
>>
>>539510777
I bet 70% of that lakes water went to jewish almond farmers and jewish datacenters
>>
>>539510777
>you have more water than you know what to do with
good reason to not waste it on the west coast, prevent the problem from happening in the first place. they can keep the trasnplants we don't want them back
>>
>>539510388
California should rot.
These scum fuckers are ruining my state with their anticonservation practices and fucking clear cutting of the trees

We are losing water in the valley.

I remember this story from 15 or 20 years ago, Las Vegas was going to return to the desert. Then it went away and it was fine again. Each event is its own thing, but I'll believe it when I see it.
>>
Whose going to fund the pipeline?
>>
>>539510388
i would advise anyone living here to move north. in 10-20 years it won't be habitable due to drought and heat.
>>
>>539510388
How retarded are we as a country that for the last 30-40 years the fastest growing cities have been uninhabitable deserts like Phoenix and the fastest shrinking have been on the Great Lakes? Any rational country would not do this. But because "The Market" said so, we settled like retards.
>>
>>539510388
Goddamn jews will try to steal everything.

You mean the desert they engineered? Seriously we are fucked in Oregon now. Lowest snow pack ever.

Its already so fucking over for the Willamette valley. We are turning subtropical and if people keep killing the trees and pulling water and we don't replace the aquifer or the fir trees we are FUCKED
>>
>>539511037
The north of california is so rainy and foggy, you might as well be in England. 90% of the rainfall happens in the north of the state. But most of the population is in the south of the state. A very easy solution would be investing in some pipelines to bring water from North to South.
Rather than doing that, California's corrupt governors decided to invest in a high speed rail system, so they could inject more spics into the white north. This project wound up being a massive failure and boondoggle. Money wasted.

Constant pulling from a huge desert aquifer.

No.

Oregon is already stressed. The redwoods keep it like that.
Destroy the urban spaces in California, stop farming in hell and stop importing people

Anon, california has the most productive soil in the entire world. The quality of California's soil makes any other state look like a joke. Nobody can match California's output per-acre

I sleep with toe spacers. You have to train up for 20-40min then an hour with breaks in between, but now I sleep all night with them.
They do not permanently realing your toes, but they give a great blood circulation and release tension.
Really good for workers that walk and stand a lot.

California is fire country. Every year the brush grows, and every year the fires burn. Some trees won't even sprout unless their seeds have been scorched by fire.
Because of the constant fires, the soil became ridiculously overpowered. You can grow 3x as much per acre in california as in Kansas or Ohio or something.

They grow them, but not nearly as well as California could.
Because of its position on the coast, California mostly grows export-crops like fruits, nuts, seeds...etc. But if desired it's perfectly capable of grown corn and potatoes and whatnot.

If we built more AI data centers maybe we could ask the AI how to solve the problem of dwindling waters.

Alaska was sold to us by the Tsar Alexander II. There was no war between us. There was no emnity. Just Russia selling us land. Before that there was at most a few treaty disputes that were settled peacefully. Alaska is ours rightfully as it had been for over 160 years. Moreover, the beaners can go back south of the Sonora where they belong. The LEAFs can stay separate in their own country.

And if you bring up injuns telling us to go home. Fuck off, we are home. We built this place. They can go back to Siberia.

Storing water for these extended droughts is a major purpose of these dams. Judging by the typical cycle we will probably see a period of wetter years soon. In fact we are already on the way out, 2022 was the actual peak of the most recent drought cycle.

The Great Lakes are infested with quagga mussels. The waters are ridiculously clean now. But the mussels clog all intakes and pipes. No other region will get our water.

Canada would covertly assist us with procurement of equipment to continually destroy any pipeline and turn but it throughout its length into a sieve.

You want our water, you have to move here or else buy it it one small bottle at a time. BTW we're full and you can sod off to beanerland, mystery meat mutts.

>Pistachio Wars is a 2024 documentary executive produced by Adam McKay that investigates how The Wonderful Company, owned by Stewart and Lynda (((Resnick))), dominates California's water resources and agricultural industry. The film links the company's pistachio production to severe environmental degradation, local water scarcity, and political lobbying against Iranian imports.

Lake Mead surface level is currently at 1,041 feet (above sea level)
At 1,035 feet they have to shut down some of the generators because they dont have enough water pressure to spin all of them.
Thats 6 feet away. Which will be used in about 3 weeks.
