I work at an HOA management company. The poster is unironically 1000% correct. We manage well over 75 of them. We've seen the worst of the worst, batshit insane Karens that go around on property and measure how tall the grass is with a ruler. We've seen them all. We've even seen an HOA fine a police car for being in the neighborhood too long. This is what's known as a white person problem, because most people just find it annoying. We also manage apartment complexes. Ones with broken stairs, piss in the elevators, and of course section 8 niggers everywhere. The difference in what these people complain about is night and day. Grandma in an HOA will complain about weed smoke on the balconies, but apartment complex managers will complain about being stabbed, robbed, shot and attacked. All of our property managers that work in these apartment complexes have concealed carry, including the women. Actually using the resources available to you (when you have them) works absolute wonders. If you don’t have the quality of city government and police that I do in your smaller town, then you need to spread the word amongst neighbors until it becomes a necessary issue for any new elected official to promise on to get elected, and a pain in the ass for those already in office.
