Well, y'know, in ancient times and the Middle Ages, it was very common for diseased people's corpses to be thrown towards enemies on a catapult. They say that's how the Black Plague got all the way from Mongolia to Europe. They also say that's how smallpox spread throughout the Americas.

So yeah, pretty clever technique. Just fill your armored "gift" horse with a bunch of people who got a short fuse, and then either use them to spread degeneracy and laziness amongst your enemies, or just have them kill people without any mercy.
