So I was thinking that perhaps the biggest problem in a system like the US government is the demographics allowed to vote and in particular along economic lines.So here is my proposal.The only ones who get to vote are those with a net worth of minimum $20k and maximum $5mil. These are also the only people who are allowed to hold public or appointed office.Remember this is net worth so your assets all have to add up to this range.The lower bound exists to give incentive for the politicians to raise the quality of life and jobs for the poor to expand their voter base. The upper bound exists because if you've got more than that then you've already won at life and you're now so far removed from the vast majority of people in the country your concerns are likely in direct conflict with your countrymen.
