>>539534137But does it have a chainsaw?
>>539534243Can they walk like the chink ones?:>>539534137
>>539533294but what's the point of that thing? just a new toy for millionaires?
>>539533294This is just a warehouse bot but we already have better ones. Hes just managed to make it in a more human form but non humanoid ones already do a better job.
>>539534492I dunno looks practical
>>539534462loader from aliens but faster
>>539534462change out the arms for skids and you could have a 9 foot tall bi-pedal forklift, though i'd reckon stabilization would be an issue. or you could throw a micro thorium reactor on it's back and hook up a cwis to it, or maybe a couple 30-40mm guns as arms w/same thorium reactor, or some anti drone lasers, once again w/the same thorium reactor. or some attitude control rockets from the space x capsules, ofcourse with a thorium reactor, then you could have a flying mini gundam
>>539533294Get in the cuck cag... I mean cuck MECH, wagie
>>539534586them skinny leg actuators wouldn't be able to hold a proper load, they need to be 2x+ the size they are now, also they need to be hinged backwards for more stability/heighth control
>>539534462Get in the fucking Wagecuck Cage! They gave it legs for God's sake, what more do you entitled cattle need?
>>539534137>you can see it hanging off a chain when the guy gets in at 0:30>when it starts walking the pilot mysteriously switched>pilot is clearly a doll>cockpit has no dampening, shakes violently with every step, especially in quad modeI appreciate the tech but it's very obviously just an early prototype. We probably won't see functioning mechs until like 2040.

>>539535477>>539534967just one panzerfaust and that thing and the operator are deadthat thing just doesn't make any sense to me
>>539533294it's going to be interesting the first time it does vidrel with someone inside
>>539535760I have thought about this, but I think we're thinking about it wrong. It's not meant to replace MBTs, it's meant to be cheaper and be easier on logistics. Making everyone carry around anti-armour guns to take out your half-tanks everywhere (at least presumably), is a cost incurred on the enemy. But in order to work these things need to be able to reach anywhere, like mountainous or heavily forested terrain. So if these things are going to be good they should be light and cheap crew-wise.
>>539536540actually, now that i look at it a bit closer, it looks like it has already had a few falls...

Cant wait to stomp capitalist kike heads with it.
honestly seems to me china played this rather beautifully>go all in on electric cars before anyone else, pushing your production and know-how in the sector>translate to robots by getting in bed with one of the cutting edge western researcher teams, see boston dynamics and hyundaiif they can keep the production gap open over the next years, man...
>>539537408I don't think a nordic man can fit inside the cage.It needs a powerfist and a Gatling gun.

>>539533294>>539533559Chinks are late to the game. We already had a working Avatar robot a decade ago. Even Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, was given an opportunity to sit on it once.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4LYGil7kOo

>>539533294Imagine someone turning this into a killdozer and barreling through crowds to reach politicians or ceos. Could anyone or anything stop it quick enough? You may get lucky and get the legs but soon I bet the stabilizers will be too advanced to simply knock it off its feet. What is the game plan to tackle this inevitable situationWar Council - Assemble
>>539540679>>539540527This is never gonna happen dummy, too expensive and easily droned. Cheap bipedal or quadruped robots with weapons will take over the battlefield, they can act autonomously or human controlled. They can be fitted with explosives to run into bases disguised as the enemy, a humanoid robot is probably the most scariest thing because they could make it look like anything, a nigger, a fat white chud, a child. Anything can be a suicidal explosive bot.
>>539535760it'd be for exoatmospheric usage i'd reckon. on the moon for example, if there is something that needs protecting, a dude in a space suit only has so much go juice and o2 before he needs to top off. put his ass in a 20foot tall mech and he has the endurance to stay in the AO for 8-12 hours. >but muh tankstredded or wheeled vehicles on lunar/martian/asteroid surface would get gunked up and fail in under an hour from the fine particulate which comprises the first 3-36 inches of regolith. the only logical solution would be a bi-tri-quadrapedal mechanized unit. also the terrain is absolute shit on celestial bodies. the ability to traverse rough terrain while not getting your roadwheels/tracks jammed up by microscopic razor sharp dust makes them the logical choice. someone will fire a shot in anger in space in the next 20 years, on the moon in the next 40. we need to start planning for the eventuallity of armed conflict in low/microgravity environments. oh and if mechs are a thing, then swarms of robots armed with rifle caliber firearms wouldn't be a stretch, so just have armed drones cover a 500yard radius around the mech so as to kill anything that moves. AT weapons are useless if your dead
>>539539785this
>>539533294I don't care if they're not very useful for war, I want them for combat motor-sports
>>539534137>Today is the day weapons learned to walk upright!
>>539540679why would a mech born TOS need a multiangled radar normally found on SPAA units? that's quite literally what integrated fire control systems are made for.
>>539533294Damn. Titanfall is becoming real
>>539534462Jeff Bezos new body
>>539540679Why would it have hands and hold a gun instead of the arms being the gun?
>>539537408A redneck is going to snipe a hydraulic line on that thing from 500 yards with his deer rifle.
>>539539065>>539540092They've been AWOL for 8 years, and there's nothing to show for It
>>539541931less moving parts to jam up. the act of manually replacing a mag on a rifle, even a scaled up 30+mm beast of a rifle requires exponentially less moving parts than a limb that is a firearm having to rely on internal autoloaders. more moving parts=more things to break
>>539542015if each one had a 8-10 foot long quadrapedal drone "mothership" containing around a dozen drones with small arms following it around to protect it from infantry then that deer hunter would be swiss cheesed before he even had a chance to dial in. if there are mechs, then drone swarms armed with rifles isn't much of a stretch
>>539541931Most mech begin their tech-tree as construction machines that perform labor(fork lift with hands). They are armored and weaponized later as an after thought. (Oh, these things can carry naval guns around like they were small arms, neat)
>>539542144So tanks should have hands that hold and fire a gun on top of the turret?>>539542342makes sense
>>539533294Robotjox when?
>>539542297>starts to raingg 2ez farmers win again
>>539542065The drama behind it is more fascinating you would imagine.>In October 2018, investigative news outlets Newstapa and Sherlock released leaked video clips that shattered Yang's public image and horrified the nation.>The footage exposed a culture of severe workplace abuse, extreme power trips (known in South Korea as gapjil), and criminal behavior:>Physical Violence & Humiliation: Videos showed Yang berating, slapping, and forcing employees to kneel and apologize in front of their colleagues.>Bizarre Workshop Rituals: At company retreats, Yang forced employees to shoot live chickens with crossbows and decapitate them with swords.>Extreme Control: Employees were coerced into dyeing their hair bright colors according to Yang's whims, forced to drink excessive alcohol without bathroom breaks, and made to eat raw garlic.>The public outcry triggered a sweeping law enforcement investigation. Authorities arrested Yang in late 2018 on multiple charges, including habitual assault, coercion, animal abuse, extortion, drug use, and digital sex crime distribution.>During the legal proceedings, courts handed down sentences for his extensive rap sheet. In April 2021, the Supreme Court confirmed a 5-year prison term specifically for his workplace abuses, assaults, and animal cruelty. Subsequent trials addressing his illegal digital content distribution, embezzlement, and other offences led to additional sentencing, bringing his total prison time to 12 years.>Korea Future Technology quickly collapsed in the wake of the scandals, and Method-2 faded into obscurity—a stark symbol of an extravagant vision fueled by abuse and illicit profits.>For additional context on the legal proceedings and public reaction, you can watch the news coverage on the Yang Jin-ho Appellate Sentencing Video. This report highlights the Supreme Court's ruling on Yang's severe workplace abuse and assault charges.
What happened to Boston dynamics? They spent 10 years and billions of dollars on a walking dog then out of nowhere china comes out with an army of bipedal consumer-class robots. Is this information espionage or what?

>>539543425The nips (honda) knew bipedal robots were retarded in the 90's but still went ahead and made ASIMO and released it in 2000 because it was cool. Modern robot development literally is no different than that same 2000's tech from honda. There hasn't been a single innovation since 99. Hell even the insanely talented Mr. Masahiko Yamaguchi (aka Dr. Guero) knows bipedal robots are largely useless. That's the guy who was publishing walking robots before 2011 and made the first bike riding robot. His technique is what every bipedal robot developer is using to date. The only real innovation is large models trained on gaits/balance/imu data and local processing density. Battery is still the limiting factor.>t works in bipedal robotics and AI>>539543571I have access to Atlas but i work for a consultant group working under Hyundai, Toyota, and BD. It's by far the most complex robot to date and it's still useless because battery life, tethered robots are by far the only useful bipedal models. Chinkbots aren't magically superior because you can buy one. It's a walking backdoor for network infrastructure and data siphoning. It's a loss leader so it can gather networking information, training data, and potentially for stealing custom software written on it for the CCP (yes this is real, and you'll cope) Go ahead buy one, enjoy it. But don't pretend it's anything amazing. It's literally 2000's tech with a modern processor.>You're literally comparing snake oil vs an actual product that can be bought.I'm not comparing anything, anon asked what happened to BD, and I simply told him...
