I'm continuing my posts about why to avoid Irmo, SC. This edition concerns this jolly individual and the Understanding Irmo Flock Safety Cameras page on the town's website.This good boy says,A Message from Irmo Police Chief Bobby Dale:"If a child is abducted, a violent criminal flees our town, or a family is desperately waiting for answers after a loved one goes missing, I never want to look them in the eye and say, 'We could have used technology that might have helped, but we chose not to.’Now, you might think it sounds like we live in an incredibly violent town, but keep in mind, as Councilman Mike Ward assured me while glazing these cameras himself, essentially all of our crimes are property crimes.Before I move on, I'd like to correct my post yesterday about his phone being out of service. After calling his work phone, he checked his council bio and said the number had been entered wrong. I'll take his word on it for now.But basically, Big Boy here is having fantasies about being a big time policeman fighting big time crime. He is either delusional, or creating panic to justify his cameras he needs, in his own words, to examine every nook and cranny of our town.This is the cartoon that life here has become. I would discourage you from moving here for the time being. It's such a small area, you could move anywhere else that hasn't become this much of a joke.
