Why did birth rates peak in the mid 2000s and then completely plummet afterwards?
>>
Because leftists started shanking people who like sex.

Time to shank back.

zoomers will never know the happiness of seeing a girls underwear under their lowriding jeans early in the morning in school

Half the girls in my class, who’d have graduated that year, dropped out because they had a baby. Looking back, I know I ruined my life by not putting a baby in every girl that as much as winked at me. I missed it. That was my chance. I chose SOCOM and FFX over reproduction.

This. They were already shit for a myriad of reasons, mostly women having rights, but smartphones were the coup de grâce.

Dudes were already using computers and the internet for a decade and things were still fine, but smartphones gave women the same access to the internet 24/7 and that quite literally destroyed civilization

used to be easy talking to girls then, they craved it so much that you could have a white girlfriend in a different country from chatrooms

The gender schism can be traced back to the early 1990s HIV epidemic and teen pregnancy scare that created a massive wave of abstinence education in the U.S.

Gen X may have ignored much of that messaging as teenagers but still internalized the underlying norms and later passed them on as parents. The lesson they absorbed was simple: teens shouldn’t fuck.

The early 90s were the peak of AIDS fear and concern over teen pregnancy. Schools, parents, and organizations promoted abstinence, and many Gen X parents carried those fears into how they raised their children. To this day, many still act as though HIV transmission through vaginal intercourse is common and pregnancy can happen almost anytime.

Instead of just telling kids not to have sex, many parents adopted a highly controlled approach. Girls were placed into endless structured activities - music, dance, art, theater, scouting, sports, etc. - anything to keep them busy and reduce unsupervised time with boys.

Meanwhile, boys often received almost no attention when it came to social development. The goal was preventing sexual activity, and being in sports or, more commonly, glued to an Xbox controller, ensured that.

This culminated in a generation that missed out on normal mixed-gender socialization and teen development. Many girls gained communication, teamwork, and leadership skills through activities, while many boys struggled to develop social norms. This spring boarded girls into college and professional life while the boys LDAR’d.

Why are so many young men reporting little to no sexual experience? Why does “Gen Z boss and a mini” exist? Why are women increasingly succeeding while many men are falling behind? A generation being raised with the sole intention of preventing them from fucking produced unintended consequences: young men and women on completely different trajectories.

In 2007 I was playing wow and I had just discovered alcohol I could have had sex looks like I missed my chance

Anon, I think you got it.

There is nothing new about trying to prevent teens from having sex and getting pregnant, of course. Parents have always been on that job. But in the past it was done, by having structured MIXED activities.

What happened to that?

For me, it was the denim miniskirts and the early days of the internet where girls didnt have a second thought doing cartwheels and handstands in skirts/dresses and posting it on the internet.

Gee, I wonder (((why)))...

the year smartphones came.

The recession was a big part.
>>

2007 was also the year the smartphone came out. Declining birthrates correlate with smartphones taking over
>>
feminism peaked in the mid 2010s and also the push for everyone to go to college was massive around the same time.

the age most women got pregnant was replaced by indoctrination at college and wasting away prime mating years (20-28) in college or early “career”

>financial meltdown in 2008
gee I wonder why birth rates fell
9/11 was the end of an era, but 2008 was truly the final death knell of American prosperity. We have honestly never recovered.
