As for the "why", it has more to do with the Jewish system we live under where everything is compulsory with public roads, public schools, etc. but then there are (((private))) businesses plugged into the compulsory system that don't even have to compete with other businesses while still maximizing their own profits (hence the junk-tier food) instead of working to benefit the nation as they would under national socialism. So no rugged individualism here.
