Venezuela used to be the richest country in Latin America, and it should be given that it has the continent's biggest oil reserves (which is very curious because that is probably what the American government is after with all this military strategy, and it's almost like it plotted to install Chávez or somehow contributed to it from the beginning for this reason in problem-reaction-solution fashion).
