A lot of people have believed in the centuries of Russian propaganda about how Ukraine was never a real country while they worked to erase Ukrainian history. But since independence, Ukraine discovered a lot of their history. An interesting thing is that Ukraine was the oldest civilization in Europe and according to the research of scientist Volodymyr Krasnoholovets and archaeologist Yuri Shilov, Ukraine is potentially the oldest civilization on Earth as Ukrainians have been shown to be the only people on Earth with a memory of mammoths and glaciers. With all of this out there for people to read, how is anybody still honestly buying the Russian BS about Ukraine and not recognizing it's role in history?
That seems whack. It is true though that the first proper neolithic cultures appeared here between Ukraine and Romania (Cucuteni-Trypillia). There was also the older Lepenski Vir site that is currently Serbia but the culture extended to both sides of the Danube. That's where the first villages in Europe appeared.
