The land Hitler took was mostly Polish land. Hitler and Stalin split Poland… Stalin took the historically non-Polish parts and purged the Polish colonists and returned control of these lands to their rightful owners. Hitler took the historically Polish parts of the country and planned to colonize it with German settlers and Germanization policies toward the people living there. Literally colonization vs decolonization.
